Rooms was clean nice staff big parking

Very quiet place in the countryside and close to the motorway

It was VERY basic and like a motel from a bad film. I didn’t want to walk on the brown carpet in bare feet just in case.

The hotel was fine, the breakfast good. However, very disappointed the restaurant is not open at weekends.

As advertised. Older motel style that has been renovated. Restaurant was nothing special for dinner and town is a few kilometers away, so need a car to stay here. Great for one night while travelling. Staff very nice, but limited English if that is an issue for you.

Quiet and well run budget hotel. Beds could have been a bit more comfortable but the great breakfast made up for the hard bed. Would consider staying again when back in the area.

Arrived at advertised check-in time (1400h) - room was not ready until 1530h. Ate in hotel restaurant - food acceptable, but was given short measure of cognac. The basin waste pipe in the room had not been attached with a proper plumbing joint but had been glued together. During the first night the glue failed, and all water put into basin emptied onto the floor. Next morning I reported the fault and was promised another room by midday - returned at midday to be told that the fault had been repaired, but room was not ready until 1430h. On checkout I was presented with a bill for the entire amount due and no apology. Needless to say, I refused to pay for the first night and for the cognac. The only good thing I can say about this dreadful hotel is that the air-conditioning worked well. I would recommend travellers to use the Ibis which is nearby.

Good experience. Excellent refurbished rooms. Choice of buffet food not quite as comprehensive as usual. Little hiccup with the bill but it was sorted on our return a fortnight later.
