Our anniversary trip was completely ruined by this hotel experience. We drove nearly 6 hours from Toronto expecting a relaxing getaway, but the conditions were extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The room was dusty, poorly maintained, had an unpleasant smell, and appeared far from properly cleaned. We even found a large dead insect in the room that housekeeping had clearly missed. After staying in the room, I developed a severe skin reaction and intense itching across my body and had to seek medical attention. Whether it was caused by bed bugs, mites, or another hygiene issue, the experience was extremely concerning. Other major issues included: * Broken jacuzzi * Pool full of insects and mosquitoes * Poor mattress quality * Spa services advertised but unavailable * Unhelpful and disappointing customer service We were so uncomfortable that we checked out only a few hours after checking in and could not even sleep properly. No meaningful assistance or resolution was offered despite contacting the hotel. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences we have had and absolutely not what was represented online.

Beautiful hotel, right in downtown Mont Tremblant. Staff is wonderful, and attentive. Rooms are spacious, clean, and have a large fireplace. You do not even feel like you are in a hotel, you feel like you are in a cottage in the woods.

Hotel Quintessence is an exceptional stay and easily a top choice in Mont-Tremblant. The rooms are spacious, warm, and incredibly cozy, complete with a wood-burning fireplace and stunning lake views that make it hard to leave. The jacuzzi and infinity pool overlook the lake, creating a surreal setting, the deep blue water against the crisp white of the surrounding landscape is truly sensory overload in the best way. The staff were outstanding, attentive and responsive, with firewood delivered to the room within minutes each time we called. The hotel also features a beautiful wine cellar in the bar area and an excellent on-site restaurant. Its location is perfect, just steps from the village, yet tucked away on the lake, offering both convenience and tranquility. With its Michelin recognition, it absolutely lives up to the standard. I would highly recommend Hotel Quintessence to anyone visiting Mont-Tremblant.

Perfect getaway. Room was clean and service was impeccable. Shuttle service was offered to bring us to the ski lift - we were there in less than 2 minutes. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous views and a great location. Quality of service has declined over the years. The fire alarm went off at 4 am and there were no staff members around to direct us at all. We were eventually told to go back to our rooms, woken up and sent outside again 15 minutes later and then told to return by the fire department. There was a lot of confusion. The hot tub in the spa area was not hot at all. We had a comfortable stay overall but it’s clear that the hotel is not what it used to be.

Absolutely perfect!

The staff was really great, especially the valets and people at the bar were very kind and friendly. The welcome chocolates were nice. The room was very large with a pretty sitting area and fireplace. Showers were nice. robes were really fluffy. Beds were very comfortable and linens were exceptionally soft. The food was great; we ate here three times. Close to the mountain and ski area with lots of hiking paths near by. Nespresso coffee pods and real half and half was nice. The spa and gym were nice with hot tub overlooking the infinity pool and lake and sauna. The duvet smelled a bit like cleaning material (maybe recently laundered) but it was not a big problem. It would have been great if they had an arborist trim the trees. We paid for a lakeview room, but the trees were so thick you only got peekaboo views of the lake. I would have loved a few additional amenities like bikes to use, kayaks or paddleboards.

Overall great experience. Room service could be improved, we had some back and forth regarding missing items a few times. I would still go back.

Loved our stay. Would have liked a recycle can in our room, as well as a side table near the couch for drinks while watching tv and relaxing. Otherwise wouldn’t have changed a thing!
