Great staff and good breakfast

I would never stay there again, my wonderful view of a huge junk of concrete on the balcony was magical. There are much better options in Halifax.

AC didn’t work, wasn’t a great stay because we couldn’t sleep Room was stuffy and uncomfortably warm. First night they seemed get it to work for a little while, from about 1am onward. But the second night it did not work at all, none of us got any rest and there wasn’t any maintenance staff on call to fix it. They se t us fans around 330 am, helped a little but it was still too warm to sleep. Everything else was ok, the gym, pool etc.. apparently the food from the bistro was ok as well.

Marriott Courtyard Downtown Halifax is, as named, in downtown Halifax. It’s in a great location, close to the Citadel and harbor. Good restaurants nearby and you can buy a quick breakfast at the bistro downstairs.

Amazing staff, great location and wonderful service & property. Highly recommend it to everyone

Excellent view, clean room and great staff

Clean comfortable spacious room with a great view of the harbour. Rooftop was perfect for taking it all in. Right in the middle of Halifax with lots a restaurants a short walk away.

The location is central to the harbour, close to food vendors as well as 2 restaurants. The property is quite clean. Our room did not get serviced over the 4 days we were there. The staff were all friendly and quite helpful. There is a patio garden as well as the rooftop view of the harbour. This is our second stay at this hotel.

This property was located by the waterfront and was very beautiful. The only downside was the construction across the street from our room. They were up making noise at 6 am every morning except for the day we left. Besides that I would most likely return.

Great room, clean and comfortable.

I was very disappointed that with the extremely high price for a very simple, plain rooms, that there was no continental breakfast! When you pay $600.00 dollars for a room with two beds, the least they could do would be to feed you in the morning. I have stayed in many hotels in Halifax that offer full suites at $350.00 per night that also offer continental breakfast.

The staff was accommodating, the room was spotless (and the bed was sooooo comfy). The view from the window was lovely. Genuinely have no complaints!

We have stayed here twice before and we very pleased but this time we were very disappointed.☹️ First I want to say that Bill the front desk staff was awesome! He was so understanding and kind! Unfortunately we can’t say the same for our room. There were not sink or tub plugs so unfortunately not able to have the bath I wanted after a cold chilly day and because no plug for the sink my husband’s razor blade went down it. Thank goodness it wasn’t expensive jewelry The fan in the bathroom also never worked. Overall the hotel is showing wear. Now some might say none of these are that big of a deal and I would probably agree if we weren’t paying $575.00 a night plus $25.00 a day for parking which Bill very kindly refunded.

Properly located for our functions in Halifax. Room was spacious and well appointed. Close to restaurants and convention centre.

The hotel was very nice. The location was perfect and the staff were all friendly and amazing. The one small thing I would say is that paying extra for a balcony and not having any furniture was a little disappointing. We were happy two chairs were brought up to the room when we called. We would stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank you.

Hotel in a great location but amenities are limited. Typically as a Bonvoy member there is usually water bottles on the room but did not see any perks of the membership. On site restaurant in a basic.
