My husband and I came to enjoy hiking in Manitou Springs. We chose this hotel because of great ratings and its close proximity to Garden of the Gods. We loved our room- clean, comfortable bed, and we appreciate having a microwave and frig in the room. Our reason for not giving this hotel a 5 is the front desk service. No one answered the phone when we needed something in our room. When we asked the best way to walk to Garden of the Gods, we were given directions to take Manitou Ave.- right in front of the hotel- and continue until we reached Garden of the Gods Road. As we proceeded, I noticed a sign for Beckers Lane about a half block from the hotel and wondered if that would take us there, as well. But these directions came from a native, so we followed them. An hour later, we arrived at the Trading Post and discovered Beckers Lane would have taken us there in less than half the time. The man behind the desk was dismissive and rude, clearly uninterested in providing us with good information and should not work with the public. What a shame because the rest of our stay in Manitou Springs was stellar!

Older hotel, but clean. The hot tub jets were not fully functioning, and the fridge did not get very cold. Very friendly staff and great location

The hotel was clean and conveniently located to the points of interest. The staff was helpful with suggestions for restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Good parking, easy room access. Large room with co.fortable beds.

The beds and linens were very nice! Property was quiet. The complimentary breakfast was very good! The rooms are dated. Although I think the tub/shower combo had been cleaned, it was hard to say definitively because it was older and quite dingy.

nice enough, but for the price, the room were on the smaller side and breakfast was a let down...brown bananas and biscuits & gravy plus the normal yogurt and a few pasteries

We stayed here not knowing what to expect. From the outside, it doesn’t look like an amazing hotel but it was very clean. The staff were very friendly and it is located in a great spot.

Close to attractions! Nice smaller hotel but with all the good amenities of a larger chain.

First room we stayed in TV wouldn’t work so we moved to a different room. Second room TV worked, but had some issues with the screen where you couldn’t see the full screen other than that the day was OK beds are a little stiff.

Very happy with this hotel choice. A quiet place close to Pikes Peak with free parking. The pool and hot tub were a plus. We had a good breakfast and the place was clean. Highly recommend.

Close to many activities.

Overall decent hotel for a low price, the only real downside was that the shower curtain was missing its liner and the bathroom door didn’t lock, but other than that it was good.

Property appeared well cared for, staff was pleasant, our room spacious, clean, and the carpet seemed nearly new. Breakfast in the morning was good - lots of options for all tastes. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
