Great place to stay. Clean, near city centre, quiet, safe, best of all the room was spacious.

Very old, not very clean & insufficient basic supplies. Certainly doesn’t match up to the reviews supplied

Apartment itself was great, good location with a pool. Air conditioning worked and kept entire room cool. Bathroom standard, did the job, only complaint was the bed was a bit uncomfortable as it was 2 twin beds pushed together, so middle wasnt great on the back. In general though, room was fine, and would stay here again

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and esplanade. The rooms amenities were great. Having our own washing machine and dryer was very handy especially since we were in Cairns for a week long sporting event. Secure parking was an added bonus

Property was not what we booked it was awful the bedding (mattress and pillows were heavily stained our daughter stayed one night the bed they supplied for her was torn and heavily stained, she woke during the night with multiple bites on her arm and legsI reported this and the mattress was passed on to another guest. The bathroom tap dripped . The Lino flooring was lifting and everything else was past its use by. We were told not all rooms are nice like the one we actually booked and didn’t get and basically told bad luck . We had a chain smoker above us and smoke came in our room. We couldn’t get a refund so were stuck. David

Liked the provision of cooking facilities; quiet, walkable distance from esplanade; markets, short distance to Cairns Central, close eating outlets; pleasant people in reception airconditioner in room needs to be checked; had difficulty turning the TV on and off.

Propeety was good close to enough of the Cairns shops etc near to aquarium rooms although tidy could fo with a spruce but all in an enjoyable stay.thanks to owners and the boss dusty

Cascade Gardens is a lovely spot to spend some time in Cairns. Sam at reception is an absolute gem! Very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend it

The studio was large and clean, we liked the security screens on the patio door and window so we could leave them open and get fresh air. the only problem was there was a smoker in a lower room and we could smell smoke when they lit one up on their patio

Pros: large unit with outdoor area. 2 TVs. All the necessary for cooking. Pool area is relaxing and beautiful. Lots of space to park. Staff is super friendly and helpful and their pets are the best! Easy walk to Lagoon area and minutes away from the Esplanade. Super quiet - didn’t hear any noise from outside, hallway, or other units. Cons: Dated unit. AC wasn’t the best, so the room smelled damp. Staff office hours are hit or miss.

Arrived to room and found it to be very dated and could barely get the air con to work. Room wasn’t clean and found bed bugs on arrival. Left room to stay in another hotel for 4 nights instead and got a full refund. Sam the manger was good to deal with.

Very close to CBD, easy to walk to tourist friendly markets, dining, entertainment & the cairns Esplanade. Kitchenette & room were also great size..

Close to most things
