We visited Chios for a destination wedding. The staff matched all of our expectations and exceeded them. We will be happy to return. The DeShazior’s of Ohio

Have stayed here many times. Definitely one of the nicer hotels in Chios. Centrally located.

The issues of the hotel prohibitively encumber its beautiful views - and I will try to explain. The bed was more bouncy than a trampoline. Pool towels were regularly tattered or torn (if there were even towels available - on several occasions we stopped by the front desk for towels only to be told we were better off hanging on to our wet towels from the day before because there were zero on hand). Room towels were not replaced on one occasion when our room was turned over (they were dirty and folded but we weren’t sure whose was whose). Safety: The room attendants on several occasions left our back sliding door ajar (I think to prevent automatic A/C from running) - which was dangerous given that neighbors could access this sliding door by hopping over a low railing on either side of our balcony. This led a large spider and Praying Mantis to enter (which later molted and shed its skin on our floor - absolutely disgusting). Additionally, the room safe is accessed not via a pin code, but instead by your room key (what sense does this make if a key is compromised? None). Theft: My brother - who was staying a few doors down - had his tablet device stolen from his luggage which was closed on the morning of our departure. We had an early ferry and could only briefly relay the theft at the front desk during check out. We called later to follow up - manager sided with his staff “who had been with the hotel for years.” This hotel is clearly not safe nor customer first. Stay away.

I am sorry to say that I will NEVER stay at your hotel ever again. My car gets into a hit and run in your parking lot and you guys have no cameras anywhere, we are in 2020... When I confronted the hotel manager his suggestion was for me to and I quote: 'to find someone to get into a accident and let the insurances deal with it!!!! Isn't that fraude. I had to pay 620 euros out of my pocket. Second I was told that I can do a late check out, and on the last day when I had made plans to leave later they told me that it was not possible. For these reasons I will never recommend you guys to anybody. And I will be seeking legal counsel once I get to Canada. Thanks but no thanks John Drakopoulos

The property is right by the water in an excellent location. There was very little activity and staff in the lobby. No concierge and you had to go to the lobby to get pool towels. There was only one pool open but advertised three pools. We got the half board rate. The dinner was ok, but wasn’t up to par in variety. We thought you could order dinner from the extensive menu, but we were served a different meal. Breakfast was ok. Overall the hotel stay was ok, but the property seemed old.

Good sea views, clean, very helpful staff, big breakfast. Uncomfortable mattresses, pool and small beach needed maintenance.

Pros - The location of the property was excellent, right on the ocean with small private beach and access to larger public beach. Clean spacious room with modern bathroom and balcony with beautiful view of the ocean. Cons- Don’t understand why a resort of this size would not have an fitness facility. Hot Breakfast was mostly luke warm or cold (fried eggs, scrambled eggs). Coffee and pastries were good. Since this was the off season, value was good considering the price of a room with ocean view ($85 Canadian per night)

Location and view was magnificent but the bed was very firm so didn't get a good night sleep whilst we were there. Also, the private beach was nice but needed a clean up - too many cigarette butts and rubbish.

Hotel staff tried hard; no complaints there Hotel owners really went cheap. Amenity was two bottles of water (you paid for the rest), a couple Bars of soap the size of a half dollar, miniature shampoo bottles, a tv that did not once during our four day stay, a refrigerator that only cooled, and an Internet that out for virtually our entire stay. Beach worse than average, given the competition One night there was a wedding. It went until after 2am. I laid in bed thinking I was on the dance floor. There was no soundproofing whatsoever.

As the holiday season in Chos is relatively short (it is not a mass-market destination), in early May the hotel was not fully operational (maximum about 10 guests) and was only offering B&B. However, there are a number of nearby tavernas offering a good choice of meals at reasonable prices, though some of those on the sea front were only open at weekends. Also plenty of cafes and bars. The sandy beach was very close and almost empty at this time of year, as the water is too cold for southern Europeans. The bus to Chio town stops just outside the hotel. Staff and management very helpful and friendly, willing to order taxis, advise on car hire, etc. Cleaning staff efficient. Although it is quite close to the airport, aircraft noise was negligible, as there are very few flights each day and they are mostly turboprops rather than jets; in any case it is not directly under the flight path for take-off or landing.

The location was very convenient close to Chios and the airport. The hotel itself was not as new and nice as it was appearing at the photos. Old decoration but still nice sea views, excellent breakfast and helpful staff.

my 3rd time staying here, and the standards are always high. got an excellent room rate by hotels.com The staff are so polite and obliging. Greek hospitality at its best !! The room was on a 2nd floor and had stunning views over the local bay and the sea. Quiet and clean, bathroom was also well-appointed. Bed excellent, comfortable, with large plump pillows. Air conditioning was decent, and room service selection is excellent !! Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of coffee one-touch away. Serving staff are very busy, but respond quickly and every request is met with a smile and instant solution. Hotel is in good condition and clean throughout. The pool area is excellent, clean and with plenty of sun-loungers. Pool bar is well-located and service is smooth & fast. Restaurant stays open till late, and the food is very good for a hotel. Management is polite, Mr. Yannis was always very professional with a smile and good suggestions. Local area has few options, but this is not Mykonos after all. Chios is great for relaxation and a traditional view of Greece. Best hotel on the island in my opinion.

Lovely hotel in the livelier part of this otherwise traditional island. Check-in was smooth and staff were always polite and professional. They recommended places to go for food and entertainment. They walked me to my room and answered all my questions perfectly. Hotel is in generally good condition, although I did stay in the refurbished section. There are 2 pools and a nice private beach. Food is of a good standard. Service always fast and professional. Room was clean and of a good size. Excellent views over the sea. Breakfast is included and there is plenty to choose from. Local area is a bit quiet, but that's the way I like it. WiFi signal is everywhere but I struggled to get a good connection. I got a good room rate from hotels.com Recommended !!!!

It is a bit far from town so you end up paying 10-15 euros on each direction if wanna eat out. The beach is wonderful. The beach bar in the afternoons is a perfect, naturally shaded reading spot. Breakfast is excellent. Lunch and dinner food is average. Very friendly staff.

The location is walking distance to Karfas beach and many restaurants which was very nice. . Breakfast had many choices and overall was ok. Did not care for the orange juice. Pools very clean. Private beach small but the days we went we managed to find chairs and umbrella. Bar was nice in the evening for a nite cap. Mattresses could have been a little better. Street parking was never an issue. Would stay again.
