The hotel was amazing! Staff was so welcoming, service was personal, location was great and our room ( suite with loft ) had an amazing view. Room was clean and quite, food was really good and we'd recommend this to anyone looking for a special place to stay.

This was part of a longer stay. The only issue was the shower head, which felt like a firehose and how quickly we ran out of hot water. Other than that, the staff was wonderful, massages were great, location was amazing. Would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Cusco.

Loved Casa San Blas. The staff were excellent, very attentive to our needs. Packed us breakfast when we left early, stored our luggage while we were away on a trek, arranged a taxi for going to the airport and even provided us with hot water bottles at bedtime. The hotel was clean, had breakfast included, filtered water to drink and in a great location. Close to the main plaza. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Cusco.

Casa San Blas provided outstanding service throughout our stay in Cusco. The staff were attentive hosts who genuinely took care of their guests—from providing hot water bottles each evening (much appreciated at this altitude) to keeping tea available at all times. These thoughtful touches made a real difference in our comfort. Our room was both quiet and comfortable, with notably good shower pressure. The breakfast buffet offered solid variety and always included freshly prepared eggs, giving us a good start to each day. The location in the San Blas neighborhood puts you very close to Cusco's city center and major sites. Fair warning: the hotel is situated mid-hill, so expect a steep climb when returning. This got easier as we acclimated to the altitude, but it's worth knowing upfront. The price was excellent—noticeably cheaper than comparable hotels in the area while delivering equal or better service and amenities. The combination of friendly, proactive staff, well-maintained facilities, and strong value made this a place I'd happily return to.

If you plan on visiting Cusco, you have to stay here. It’s located right in the middle of eveything. San Blas is a beautiful neighborhood and you are less than a 10min walk to the Plaza De Armas. The staff was fantastic and super helpful. They were very accommodating. This place is fantastic!

Exceptional service and location Our stay at Casa San Blas was exceptional! This boutique hotel is perfectly located—close enough to all the action of San Blas and Plaza de Armas, yet tucked away from the main road, making it a surprisingly tranquil retreat. The quiet and cozy atmosphere was a welcome escape. Above and beyond staff The staff couldn't have been more wonderful. They went far above and beyond their call of duty, from providing amazing restaurant recommendations to helping us sort out a half-day tour of Cusco. Their assistance was especially invaluable as we prepared for our four-day Salkantay Trek, providing advice and help that made our trip much smoother. Delicious food at the hotel The hotel's lovely breakfast spread of fresh, local fruit, eggs cooked to order, and a generous assortment of meats and cheeses was a perfect start to our days. We were so impressed that, after our trek, we decided to stay another night and have dinner at the hotel. You never expect much from hotel dinners, but we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality and amazing price. Highest recommendation I would 100% stay here again, and I plan to recommend it to all my friends and family.

We checked in at 1am and Marcos was incredibly accommodating setting us up in a room, bringing our 2 large suitcases up 2 flights and making sure we were comfortable. Staff even brought up hot water bottles for feet warmers as a complementary (unprompted) service. After checkout, staff stood with us on the street corner as we waited for our ride. Breakfast was delicious and the area is very picturesque.

The rooms were beautiful and the hotel held our luggage while we did a 5 day hike on the Inca trail at no charge. The staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is very basic but good. The only critique I would say is that the hotel can be very noisy because sound echos through the open spaces.

Location, location, location. Is it a luxurious hotel where you can just stay in for the day and enjoy hotel amenities?... no is not. It is boutique hotel in the heart of Cusco, walking distance to almost everything, where they treat you great, is clean, you have a great night sleep and hot shower and better breakfast and then go visit the city and take your tours during the day... repeat. Yes, I would recommend, value vs quality is great, no complaints at all. As a family this is the type of property we like for the type of vacation, where you spend the least amount of time in the hotel and most of your day out and about.

Very comfortable stay. Everything is awesome! Breakfast everyday is like a feast- very nutritious! They also cook custom eggs as per your liking! The staff here is so kind, helpful and welcoming. I could give more than 5 stars if that was possible! It is located in historic district with all attractions and plenty of restaurants! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cusco/ Macchu Picchu!

The walk dragging our luggage uphill was exhausting and the check in took way too long even though I sent the passport information ahead for my 24 guests.

Noisy!! We could hear noise from lobby and reception desk. I would not stay here unless you are a very heavy sleeper and don’t mind noise at night and early in the morning. I ended up moving to another hotel and this hotel and Expedia refused to refund the reminder of our stay. Positives: Breakfast was very good, and hotel staff were friendly.
