Clean, fresh room. Nice welcome from reception. Only problem was the signage. Within the hotel and from the car park the signs were confusing and difficult to see

Great location and good views overlooking the Marina. Breakfast was lovely, although the staff were bit confused over some options. Good eating options nearby, really useful as the Asian Fusion menu for dinner was a bit limited.

The hotel is at the Marina end of Brighton-about an hour's walk or 10 minute car journey to the pier. The hotel staff were very welcoming and polite. The bar area, over looking the marina, was stylish and we enjoyed a couple of drinks there before heading out. Our room was, as expected, clean small but comfortable. There were tea and coffee bags and enough milk for a decent coffee. The bathroom was clean and the shower, despite taking ages to heat up, was good. We didn't eat at the Malmaisson so we can't advise on that. Overall a nice stay at a decent hotel.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. There are bars, restaurants, entertainment venues for adults and children right on your door step! We added to the fabulous view with a balcony room. The room was clean and modern with a comfortable bed. The shower was great with plenty of room. Quiet rooms with soundproofing, we didn’t hear anyone at all next door. The bar had a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the Marina. My only complaint is that the wardrobe ( a tiny space for hanging clothes ) is terrible. You open the door to find the fridge kettle and two dressing gowns and that is your hanging space. Maybe ok for a 1 night stay but definitely not suitable for daytime and evening wear for a 4 day stay. If you fancy a visit to Brighton city centre a bus runs 24 hours 7 days s week. There is also a path that runs from the hotel down to the pier, approx 40min steady walk. A great stay and although at the upper end of the budget it is definitely worth it! To ease this, you do get free parking right next to the hotel.

Difficult to access , the car park is not obvious and is incredibly tight with a normal car to get to 6th floor . Hotel was fine , staff helpful but it’s a 30 min walk or 7 min drive to Brighton .

Stayed as I was running in Brighton and have stayed at a Malmaison before. However, apart from the check-in it was all a bit meh. Room was a bit small balcony was tiny, and the door was hard to operate. Restaurant was all a bit odd and hard to work out where it was and whether it was open, and breakfast was missed as it stopped at 10:30 on Sunday (rather than 11:00 advertised on the website). Reception was in an odd place and reception didn’t answer our calls on Sunday morning. So all a bit expensive for what you get.

Lovely location. Our room was very small so I'd recommend to upgrade to larger one. Reception staff were welcoming and lovely. However, bar staff less friendly. Had to go upto the bar to get drinks which were expensive and then pay a heavy service charge to take my own drinks to my table. Service I understand when you receive it but not when you don't receive it.

Very nice hotel, a lot more "upmarket" than your traditional seaside hotel. The bed was comfy, air con (not usually needed in the UK but it was 27+degrees the few days we stayed), decent toiletries, great selection of tea and coffee in the room. The type of room we booked included robes and slippers. It's a quite far from the pier if that's the vibe you're looking for. There's plenty of restaurants and a few bars around but it was overall a very quiet area overlooking the marina. The car park they mention is not part of the hotel, it's marina car park...I followed the instructions to ignore the signs stating "max stay 4 hours" so let's hope no fines come through!

Great breakfast choices, amazing staff and a beautiful view! Downside: -Despite paying over £250 for a night, the bed was in a bad condition. The right hand side was unbearable to sleep on!
