Had a great 4-night stay at the Barceló Malaga. Very quiet. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Pool and rooftop bar also very good.

Ideally located on the metro line, 3 stops from the airport, was the main reason we chose this hotel for our city break. Enjoyed the breakfast selection and general relaxed vibe around the place and on the final day the wife couldn’t resist the temptation of using the slide down to reception! Will definitely use again as our base to explore further afield in the future.

Good selection, staff friendly, good food

Room was clean and tidy, comfy bed. Where our room was situated there was quite a bit of noise as it was right next to the terrace/pool area. The pool is not as big as it looks on the photos and the breakfast was a little disappointing in terms of quality of the cooked section. The staff were lovely and friendly and we enjoyed our stay despite the above noted issues.

Good thing I didn't write this after day one! Weird incident. But the reason it's forgotten is because the staff handled it professionally. This property could use some TLC (eg worn carpets, and those bizarre and annoying 'string curtains' in the closests and bathroom need to go. 😅 And don't eat in the restaurant unless you're desperate. (Let's be honest: if you're eating at the hotel restaurant with such good dining options near by, you probably ARE desperate. 😅) But that is minor stuff. Great staff, wonderful location. Stay here. I will again!

Great, modern, beautiful hotel. The bar is small but the food is delicious and the service is top notch. Great cocktails and better ambiance. The help desk was attentive to our needs. They helped us with our internet connection. The housekeepers were very kind, asking if there was anything we needed to improve our stay. I would definitely go back!

Right next door to the Maria Zambrano station with plenty of food options. The rooms were excellent and the hotel had friendly staff. The morning breakfast had a huge number of choices. Would rate it 10 on 10

Lovely room and hotel in general. The check was very slow took 30 mins.

Great hotel and location next to the train station. Mall at the train station with a supermarket. About 20-25 minutes walk to the harbour/port for sone lovely restaurants and bars (about €10 in an Uber).

The hotel was lovely, the staff were really nice. It's ideally located right next to the train station, and you cannot hear the trains at all. It was a bit disappointing that the TV was smart, but not connected to the internet, as confirmed by reception.

It is at the train station which is good if you are traveling a lot - it is in a good location but a bit far from the good restaurants and things to see. It was good for me as ı prefer to walk a lot.

Comfortable beds, fantastic shower, great location and having a tea by the pool in the mornings is perfect.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room with a view. Great breakfast with fresh hot & cold options. Very convenient to the train station.
