All good nice property a tiny bit of a walk to the old city but good for us to walk and to the beach front too. Right near the main station but cldnt hear the trains at all

I loved the convenient location of this hotel-connected to the train station and a couple of blocks from the bus station. This was awesome for my day trips to surrounding towns. The rooms were very clean and the front desk staff was kind and professional. The check-in and out processes were quick and easy! I will definitely choose this hotel again!

The hotel and staff are excellent!! My issue was not the hotel but its location. It’s a 20 minute walk to the city center. Also the local Malaga beach , that is man made, is sad looking ! The beach has work cranes in the backdrop and there’s a left over industrial chimney left over from the industrial days in the area. The buildings by the beach are boarded up and / or abandon. It’s not welcoming at all and I definitely wouldn’t be there after dark , but that’s just me. The hotel and staff are amazing !! The rooftop pool area , stunning !!! It’s just the location. Lastly there is a rail station that is right next door and is actually connected to the hotel by a corridor, good or bad depending on your view,

Enjoyed our stay. Very convenient location

It is accessible right from the train station. You can easily walk into the main central part of Málaga for shopping and restaurants and sightseeing. We really made an excellent choice. Exceptional staff, exceptional and very comfortable room. A small issue is that the AC is turned off at night during the time we were there. (May)

We stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Good location to restaurant’s and shopping mall just around the corner (and train station too). Direct train to airport journey time less than 15 minutes. Breakfast had a good selection of food choices. The highlight for us was the shower, you can choose different settings on the shower head. Would definitely recommend Barcelo.

We had a great stay at Barceló Malaga! We arrived 3 hours early and the staff were very accommodating and let us check in early - which was much appreciated after a very early flight. The hotel amenities are very good and it was very clean. The hotel is directly linked to the train station, which is perfect for travel. There is also a shopping centre next to the train station with a supermarket and a food court - and lots of restaurants close by. The main centre of Malaga is approximately a 20 minute walk along a very easy route. We had a lovely 3 night stay and would definitely recommend the hotel. The highlight was definitely the rooftop pool - a great place to relax after exploring. We would definitely recommend

Great location adjacent to the station, easy 15 minute walk into town for all the shops and great food. Hotel staff were fab, large rooms, nice gym and pool on site.

The concierge went above and beyond making sure I would receive a wheelchair accessible taxi to the airport in a pinch, calling multiple companies several times over until a taxi was acquired. Couldn't say enough about their kindness and helpfulness from telling us where to go to providing us luggage storage while we waited for our transportation to the airport – they didn't have to do this: it was several days after our stay, but it was much more convenient for us due to their proximity to the train station. The wheelchair accessible room had all the necessary features and space – though we couldn't get AC to work very well in our room (luckily we came in April and not June/July so it was fine).

Excellent hotel, very well positioned right above the railway station and rent a cars, modern clean rooms all you need.

Hotel in good location, near to train , taxis and shops. We liked it is an eco hotel so recycled toiletries and suggestions of 4 min shower but they didn’t provide staff at pool bar which meant 30 people were going up and down in lift all day which we thought was odd ! Have to collect towels from reception - more use of lifts . You can’t control air con in your room which we found uncomfortable first couple nights. Cocktails were good in bar and beds comfortable. Overall good .

Next to train station. Convenient for airport.

We used this hotel after a longer stay in spain. Directly off the train station. Very corporate hotel. Quick check in. Lifts fast and efficient. Very quiet on corridors and no noise from the street saying it was a very busy area. Breakfast excellent loads of seating and lots of breakfast choices. The room had a phone but was unable to contact reception from it as we didnt know number think you had to use app to find out info. Tea / coffee not topped up and no milk so we went to supermarket in the station.was a small mini bar but no prices so dont know whether it was free or not again no info. Pool area nice on floor 8 for relaxingbut you had to go downstairs level1to get a drink so we didnt bother. Great points - best comfy bed ever and quiet. Air con - worked but wasnt great.very warm in the room.
