The staff were more than excellent. The room and the sea view/castle view were excellent. The breakfast was unbelievably excellent with so many food/drink options. I didn’t swim in the pool as it wasn’t as blue as pictured in the advertisement (was a shade of green/couldn’t see the bottom) but the thermal pools were nice and relaxing. And the beach/sea access was perfect and well maintained. Would highly recommend this relaxing atmosphere with wonderful views. Everything we wanted to do was walkable and very close to the ferry port and down a quiet beautiful street.

The hotel is in a good location. It is a short walk to the beaches and not far from the main port which has plenty of options for food/drink. Hotel reception was great for booking tours, transfers to the port, ferry times etc. All staff were friendly and helpful. Pool loungers were busy/full at times but the hotel has a private beach area which also has loungers.

Would have been nice to know they had a shuttle service before our ride back to port. Hotel room was nice, broken glass off the balcony. What annoyed us however was Their pools were very very dirty and full on algae which was disappointing as that’s why we came to stay and wanted to sit in the once we were done at the beach. The large pool was bright green which no one went into (being a pool owner I know how unsafe that can be) and another pool had a layer of sediment and algae on the walls and floor.

Truly a 5 star experience! The rooms are well furnished and clean. The location is amazing, close proximity to the town (5 minute walk) & the private beach access is super convenient. The staff was awesome, from the shuttle service with Ciro, to Giulia at the front desk. They were all very welcoming, accommodating and available throughout the entirety of our stay. The cleaning staff, breakfast crew and lifeguards were always kind and willing to offer their services whenever needed. All very professional and friendly! I would highly recommend booking a stay at Punta Molino & I am hoping to be back real soon!

From the ferry ride we received a text informing us the hotel had a driver at the dock to pick us up. At check in we received Rockstar treatment. The room (we have 3) are all clean bright and well decorated. The restaurant is fantastic. The beach and pool are both nice and well staffed. We decided to extend another day to enjoy the property a little longer.

The property is very dated for the price you pay and the gym is unusable and should not be advertised. It smells and has no air conditioning. Breakfast quality is average but the restaurant staff are lovely.

It was a older hotel and it did NOT deserve a 5-star rating

Love the Island of Ischia and booked the Punta Molino not knowing it. The hotel was great. Their staff were helpful and attentive from the beach staff to the concierge. The rooms were constantly cleaned and the views at breakfast spectacular. The hotel is located a 5 min walk from the main strip, but is tucked away in it's own grounds so it feels calm and secluded, perfect for a romantic get away.

First, I need to note that the people are very nice . Sadly it’s an older hotel with old everything to match. Hard bed. A/C won’t go below 80°! And shades don’t block light. Even though I got a free upgrade, I left early. Also the absolute worst massage. It was free and I still ended it early. Was just a woman quickly rubbing oil on me. So uncomfortable. Asked for deep and she said she didn’t do that the hotel itself looks like it was beautiful 50 years ago. And hasn’t changed since.

So. There were definitely positive aspects - the service was mostly excellent, and the grounds of the hotel were lovely- from the gardens to the pool to the beach. Breakfast was also quite nice. The decor of the hotel was hard to get past - very tired, old 1960s kitsch. The gym was also Spartan and had no A/C. The biggest issue was that my room smelled strongly of smoke- it was clearly deeply embedded in the sad old furniture, because the hotel had just reopened and the smell was strongest after I came home from dinner and the maids had closed the door to the balcony. When I asked to switch rooms, the front desk said that the smell was merely from a nearby guest smoking on an adjacent balcony- which was clearly not the case. Also, the A/C didn’t seem to work. If this property had a major renovation, it would have a ton of potential- until then, I’d skip it.

Property has an amazing location which quiet and close to everything you need at the same time. Hotel needs some renovations to be better aligned with 5-star property. Food in the restaurant for dinner wasn’t good and it was impossible to find a la cart menu in English. Bar options and breakfasts are really good. Personnel of the hotel is amazing and trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible

Beautiful hotel right on a small beach. Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea, then took a flight of stairs down to the beach to go swimming. Very friendly helpful staff. Beautiful immaculate room with comfortable beds. Wonderful AC -- I was actually too cold but left it like this, enjoying the option to be cold :)

Punta Molino was a wonderful place to stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with wonderful options and the grounds are lovely. The only caveat to a 5-star review would be for the spa. I got a “rest and relaxation” massage and it felt like the masseuse was just rubbing oil on me with no pressure. She didn’t speak English but I tried to gesture and use as many Italian words as possible to explain that I wanted her the apply more pressure to no avail. It was the worst massage I’ve ever had. She also started the massage with me on my stomach on the table with a pillow propped up for me to lay my head on. This made me have to turn my face to one side and crooked my neck up in an uncomfortable, hyperextended position. I finally took out the pillow and figured out a way to lay my head straight down, but the first few minutes were awful. I don’t know if this is just how Italian massages are or if it was the specific type of massage I got, but i would definitely steer clear of that one. Another thing to note is that the crowd is definitely an older one....most guests were 60+. This definitely isn’t a party hotel so if that’s what you’re looking for, stay elsewhere.

The staff were incredible and couldn’t make you feel more welcome & pools were lovely. Would definitely recommend staying here. Ischia itself is a quiet island, which is exactly what we were looking for with great food and wine and the locals are warm & welcoming.
