Unfortunately, this place did not meet my expectations. After check in I wanted to take a shower and the shower didn’t not have the shower’s handles for the water. I had to wait until the next day for staff fix it because they didn’t have a maintenance person. Front desk was not able to provide other options. Elevator not working. No phone at the rooms.

Decent property for a decent rate. Only benefit to staying here is its proximity to the beach and the daily night show. Although staff is very friendly, a class in basic costumer service skills would be handy. Was a decent experience but there are nicer properties to stay at while visiting PV.

Great bang for the buck. Fantastic view. We did experience a pipe burst and had to be relocated to another room but they got us back up and running in no time. Restaurant service downstairs could be faster. AC was great.

This property has so much potential to be great. A friend told me that he had a great time there, but that had to be years ago. The hotel needs a serious update. No phones in the room, no fridge or safe. The staff was amazing and took care of any requests asked. We went down to the pool for a swim. While swimming, a used condom floated in my hand. Disgusting, they didn't even clean the pool after a bubble pool party. I shook it off my hand and it landed on the pool. It stayed on the edge of the pool for 3 days after that. They had 3 pools, but they 2 are the size of kiddy pools. Please update your facility. I will definitely return to Puerto Vallarta, but not this hotel.

The staff at the hotel were genuinely kind and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. However, the property itself is in serious need of renovation and better maintenance. During my 8-day stay, I had to request toilet repairs twice, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. The swimming pool was in poor condition—unclean and clearly neglected. It did not appear to have been maintained for some time. One of the most concerning aspects was the presence of aggressive vendors loitering right outside the hotel entrance. They frequently harassed guests, including offering illegal substances, which made it feel unsafe, especially for families. Inside the room, the lighting was very dim, both in the main area and in the bathroom, making it hard to get ready or feel comfortable. I also had to ask for basic essentials like washcloths, and even then, I only received one when I asked for two. Overall, while the staff were pleasant, the hotel needs major improvements to meet basic standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort.

Cant bring a guest unless you add them to the room and pay extra. why? Cant find iron to straighten out my clothes. the worst one is that there is no wifi. youd have to go downstairs to get wifi.

2nd time to stay at this hotel and I will definitely be back. This is a very reasonable rate hotel in a great location. They clean the rooms daily, beds are comfortable and staff is friendly and helpfull. If you stay, must check out the bar next door Sailors, fun place great bartenders.

Always a pleasure staying at blue chairs however, these last three times I’d stay there. They have a new receptionist with the name of Rebecca with a very bad attitude and it’s not helpful at all. I hope blue chairs addresses her behavior because it’s very unpleasant to be on vacation and have to deal with people‘s attitude and unwanted behavior. But other than that very good place to stay food is wonderful including the drinks thank you blue cheers for always taking care of us, but I hope reception gets better.

Rooms are horrible. Staff rude. First and last time for me to stay in this horrible place. I requested to get the room I paid for . I asked for an iron at the front desk and the guy told me to bring it back even though I reserved for 7 nights. Plus I was not the only one with the same problem. Horrible place!

The locks in the doors are rusted so bad the door wind kept blowing the doors open- the room was broken to where you could push it open when it locked. There were people on the street all night- ai was afraid to go to sleep in the room. We only stayed one night had to find a safer place and now I am disputing there charges for a 5 day stay when the one night was a nightmare The pictures are a complete lie!!! The rooms look absolutely nothing like the pictures!! Do not waste your time here!!!

Although it is a nice property the pool is in the middle of the property and only had direct sunlight for about 2 hours a day, there was no jacuzzi.

We stayed at Blue Chairs Resort for three nights, and overall, it was a mixed but memorable experience. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right on Playa Los Muertos with stunning views and easy access to the beach. It’s also steps away from the lively Zona Romántica, making it perfect for anyone looking to experience Puerto Vallarta’s LGBTQ+ nightlife and culture. The rooftop bar was definitely a highlight, with energetic shows, friendly staff, and beautiful sunset views.

I wanted to splurge with a two bedroom suite on the beach but got a filthy, noisy and overpriced experience. The state of the suite reminded me of a hostel with sparking power outlets, ripped up furniture, and I had to wear shoes even in the bathroom as everything was covered in grime that would stick to your socks or bare feet. There was construction at the next building that was about ten feet away from my room and the noise from it was constant and the fumes from the construction made the balcony unsuitable for breathing. The bellhop and masseur were both friendly but the front desk agents never really seemed to know what was going on at their own property. I would strongly suggest staying elsewhere if you want a suite or a view as I didn’t really find a way to enjoy the view or the ocean view.
