Our room was clearly not cleaned well before we got there. There were ants everywhere, and I found a piece of pizza behind the door that the ants were feasting on. There was a balloon under the bed, and there was glitter everywhere. The room also had a horrible odor that they had tried to mask with bleach. I really should have asked to change rooms, but we weren’t staying for long, and I just wanted to get out of this hotel. Also, the price is quite expensive for Greece. There are cute boutique hotels in the center of Nafplio that I wish we had tried instead. They were much cheaper, too.

It was a lovely stay - clean room, pretty lobby, and peaceful surroundings. Just a 7-min drive from Nafplio’s old town. Great for a comfort stay near the city.

Very clean, adequate accommodations. I had asked for the bedroom Air conditioner be repaired but it wasn’t completed. Pool was great. Breakfast had many choice but quality was average at best. Overall, worth the price but hotel could use a refresher.

Lovely staff. Nice rooms. Very nice welcome gifts. Real soap not just bottles of liquid. Despite the fact that it’s 10 mins from the old centre of Nafplio I’d stay there again. The only black mark: breakfast. Quality needs to improve as does the coffee.

Hotel was clean. But needs updating and it was odd they kept the lights off in the entire hotel through most the day… made it seem cheap. But staff was friendly.

Amalia Hotel in Nafplio is a lovely self-sufficient hotel outside of the city. A car or taxi is a necessity if you'd like to get into Nafplio or Argos. The premises are clean and comfortable, they're just rather old-fashioned and very much a throwback to a bygone era of massive hotels. The showers, toilets, furniture and dining areas have a lovely kitschy feel of 90s nostalgia, until you'd like to take a shower without negotiating not flooding the bathroom floor.

Beautiful hotel with spacious, tastefully decorated areas that embrace a minimalist style. Our room was large, well-furnished, and comfortable, with a balcony and a spacious bathroom. However, the shower is combined with the bathtub and only partially enclosed by a curtain, which doesn’t fully prevent water from splashing outside, making it a bit inconvenient. Breakfast is served in the main restaurant and is excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The hotel also has a large, nice pool, though it was closed for the season in November. While it’s close to the center of Nafplio, the hotel is located on the outskirts, which makes it challenging to access without a car—though, to be fair, getting around Nafplio in general seems difficult without one. There’s also a gym available, though it’s equipped with only very basic equipment

Overall nice property with friendly helpful staff. Facility itself a bit dated and in need of refresh. It’s not close to Nafplio town so you have to have a car which we did so that was not an issue

Very friendly staff, rooms were super clean and air conditioned which is important during Greece summers! Close to Nafplio downtown!
