Perfect location. Thats the main highlight. Behind takashimaya. Train station literally stone throw away. Room size. Like everyone mention, a tad small. Pillow not too comfy either. Plenty of amenities offered in the lobby. Grab and go. Check out time is 11am. Overall a good stay.

The room was cramped for the price, the staff was average, not very welcoming, and it was clean, but it was only a short walk when we had to attend a meeting at the JR East Japan office. It's also quite close to Shinjuku Station.

I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. The room stated that it would still be cleaned on the third day due to cleanliness reasons, so we didn't post a note requesting cleaning. However, upon returning to the hotel, the room still hadn't been cleaned. Otherwise, everything was satisfactory.

So close to Shinjuku train station, very good location, surrounded by many department stores, convenient stores, cafe and resto... Everything you need about Japan you will find here...

If you go to Tokyo, just stay here! Shibuya is overcrowded, but Shinjuku was the best. There is a local bar just in front of the hotel and the food was good. The station is a 5-minute walk, and they have access to the Airport Limousine Bus, which was so great!

Strategic location, close to places to eat, shopping, friendly staff, clean rooms.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and our two kids. The twin room was reasonably spacious for the four of us. The hotel's location is very strategic, with a combini, McDonald's, and a train station nearby. It's also within walking distance of the city center, making it easy to go shopping. When leaving, we appreciated the direct airport limousine bus service from the hotel. However, we experienced a small issue with the bus. A staff member asked us to get off at the bus terminal, possibly due to a miscommunication. Hopefully, this will not happen again, and it would be helpful if the hotel had a designated bus ticketing staff to assist the guests.

2nd time staying here, back again because there is a shuttle bus directly from the hotel to Narita & Haneda airport.

This hotel is close to Takashimaya shopping center, limousine bus station and Keio train station.

Staff is friendly but stiff no flexibility. Good facilities, great location next to Shinjuku Station. Breakfast does not change every day.

Location near shinjuku station and shinjuku expressway bus, very near to convenient store. Room has enough space for my three luggages, there are coin laundry, Amnesties is quite complete (cleansing oil, face wash, hairmask, razor, and so on) you can borrow hair iron or hair curler, pajamas are available that can reduce your luggage space

Our second time staying at Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku. Like most hotels in Japan, the rooms are not very spacious but the facilities are complete. The hotel staff are friendly and the service is fast. Unlike when we stayed in 2018, all the necessities were available in the room but now the hotel has followed other hotels where necessities are avalailble in the lobby. Although it seems to have decreased, in terms of location it is still the best for those who want to be close to Shinjuku Station. Still want to come back here though.

It's in a quiet side of Shinjuku area which is great for my family, walking distance to JR & Metro stations, great amenities provided at the lobby, even face masks & sunblock! Good service from the people in the lobby area, check in/out was easy, even though it's an old hotel, but everything is well maintained. Thanks!

amazing and would definitely stay here again

The first day we ordered a double economy room, it turned out there was a problem with the toilet flush. The next day we were immediately moved to a much larger room without any additional costs. The handling and service were incredibly fast 👍👍👍👍

The bed is very comfortable, the room is clean, the staff is nice.

Fast respon hotel and friendly staff. Good, will stay here again.
