Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff

Room not clean. Cobwebs on bedside lamp could be seen in bed, right side lamp not working. Bedside table so sloping that a coffee cup slid off it and onto the carpet.

I love this hotel. It is like stepping back into a time when service was exceptional. The food is great. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are interesting and super comfortable. The location is great. My go to always.

Great stay at this centrally located hotel in Henley. Room had a river Thames view and a nice comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with hot and cold choices. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location, cosy room. The breakfast room was a little hectic and chilly but the staff were wonderful.

Very nice hotel with comfortable, refurbished rooms that don't ruin the character of an historic building. Breakfast was decent with plentiful selections, although you might want to go earlier as it get very busy at 9am on a Sunday. We didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked excellent. You cannot do better in Henley in terms of location, it's right next to the Thames and famous bridge. The hand written note from the manager was a very nice touch.

Excellent. Particularly shower was great and the breakfast spread was fantastic.

We had a lovely stay here. Very helpful, friendly staff who were very welcoming to our young children. We stayed in a family room which was comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend the Relais and will return if we ever need a place to stay in Henley.

Couldn’t open the wardrobe door to use the mirror as the bed got in the way. So asked twice for another mirror so you can use the hair dryer to be told a mirror has been put in the room. This never happened so asked for an extension lead and finally got one! The breakfast was awful. Asked for Eggs Benedict first eggs over, second egg under and the muffin was rock solid third attempt eggs “just” but the hollandaise sauce was pure vinegar. Full English no black pudding, wasn’t told. Ask for brown sauce didn’t have that either. Was told the hotel acts on feedback I’m not holding my breath.

What a delight this hotel is. Friendly staff. Lovely, large bedroom. Most comfortable bed, with super soft sheets and pillows. Lovely toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Beautiful restaurant in a quiet setting with excellent food, both at dinner and breakfast. Quality Ingredients, beautifully cooked. Lovely bar too.
