Amazing location, great value, and very friendly staff! Would definitely stay here again!

Poor air condition on a very hot June. Staff was nice enough to give me a fan but really didn’t help … not so comfortable on summer days.

Location close to Louvre in the heart of Paris and a great, helpful staff

Location is excellent and most convenient due to proximity to parking and to the city center. Front desk supervisors are very professional. Hotel rating is four stars but feels like two stars. Their charges are for a 4 star facility but getting a two star room. 1. Furniture is very old and damaged, overall looks very poor, dirty and unworthy of a 4 star hotel. 2. Mini fridge was dirty, stuff inside from previous clients and very noisy, it wakes you up at night. We had to turn it off every evening. 3. Overall room floor cleanliness needs lot of improvement 4. Bathroom need better cleaning daily. 5. Bathroom sewer pipes need repair and cleaning to flush properly, everyt time you wash you hands, you keep hearing water flow noise for over a minute. 6. Housekeeping need training and supervision to make sure proper cleaning is done daily, towels are refreshed, shampoo and soap are filled and floor is properly cleaned. 7. There is only one elevator, extremely slow and inefficient, it needs major maintenence to operate properly. Note to the hotel owner: this has the potential to be a great hotel, all it needs is better professional monitoring and effort because customers need the service they pay for.

Great location!! I walked everyday on this trip. It took me a long time to find a hotel that suited what I was looking for which was cleanliness and location. I would definitely comeback!! Staff was very nice.

Lovely 4star hotel for my husband and I to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Pros: - Very chic - Staff was so friendly and accommodating - Location was amazing and had a bit of a soho nyc vibe but with nearby attractions like the Louvre within a 5 min walk - Comfy beds - Breakfast was simple but a nice to have - Nespresso machine in room Cons: - Not sure it’s just Paris or that we were close to the Louvre but hard to hail a cab and Ubers kept cancelling on us. (Coming from nyc was surprised by this) - While there is a bar I never saw anyone there and believe it closes early. Was hoping for a bit more lobby activity. - While our room was Paris perfection with a balcony, I wish I read the fine print as a Superior Room is under 200SF. I would have sprung for something bigger.

We loved our stay here, our room had all the amenities mentioned, also had robes in the room which was lovely. The staff at Lumen was so kind and beyond welcoming, would stay here again! View from the room was gorgeous as well! We booked a three person room and I want to note that when booking to be mindful because if you have three people and lot of luggage you may be playing a bit of Tetris, but didn’t bother us at all :)

From our arrival we were welcomed by friendly staff, our check in was very quick and easy. Our room on the 2nd floor was both clean, tidy and nicely finished and quiet when the balcony doors are closed. Facilities available were more than we needed, as we were using the hotel as our base to discover the local area. The Hotel is in an excellent position to check out some of the main attractions in the centre of Paris. We would be happy to return to Hotel Lumen in the future.
