The staff was very accomodating and friendly. They let us leave our luggage in a safe place while we waited for our departure. They also were able to get us transportation to the airport. They were amazing! The hotel was charming but could use some updating. Very clean tho. Some rooms were airconditioned but ours wasn't. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good! The hotel was close to the city center shops & restaurants. I would stay there again.

5 min Walk to town center, fantastic location, right beside a beautiful tunnel with views of the town from the terrace.

El Meson de los Poetas is a lovely hotel well situated within a short walking distance of Guanajuato's many attractions. Very easy to flag a taxi right outside the door. We stayed in a superior suite on the first floor. The room was spacious and comfortable and street noice was nonexistent. Many public seating areas outside of the rooms added to the ambiance.

Unique and beautiful hotel in great location. The staff are friendly, professional, and careful. The hotel has beautiful spaces on different levels where one can relax. The included breakfast in my rate included coffee, fresh fruit with yogurt, delicious fresh bread, and my choice of many plates; egg dishes, pancakes, Mexican dishes. All this in a very beautiful space.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Guanajuato. El callejón del beso, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shops are all walking distance. The only down fall for us is that they don't have hotel parking. Other than that we loved the hotel.

Great location in a flat part of town and walkable to everything in the Historic Area. Good restaurants and plenty of public transportation. The receptionist was expecting us and we felt welcome immediately. A nice young man took our heavy suitcases to the room and retrieved them at check-out time. The waiters in the breakfast room are professional and pleasant. Nice menu choices and the food and coffee all excellent. MY only suggestion is to supply a hot water kettle and coffee/tea in the room. We will return to this hotel on our next visit to Guanjuanto.

Great place - included breakfasts features many choices of both Mexican and gringo entrees. Location is very central for activities in the central part of town. As a fellow poet, a delight to stay in a facility where every room honours another writer. Staff very friendly, accommodating, and forgiving of those of us with minimal Spanish. A special shout out to our amiable camareros, Martin y Fernando!
