Hotel Silky was a great location for exploring Lyon. We loved the small hotel and its convenience historic sites, restaurants, and shopping.

Well situated for the centre of town,buses,trams,trains,restaurants.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was nicely presented. Excellent breakfast.

Great staff and adequate facility. Difficult to get to by car.

This is my second time staying at this hotel and both experiences have been so wonderful. Great staff and hospitality. Great location couple minutes walk to old Lyon. I will looking to be back here again.

This was a lovely hotel and the staff were friendly and excellent. We really appreciated the drinks that were available in the lobby even before and after we had checked out on the first and last days. A lovely, generous touch. Our room was gorgeous. Only two issues. The area was noisy at night with the nightlife and the access by car was impossible. We had hired a car, but took it back to the hirers for the last two days of our holiday in Lyon as the peninsular in the centre of the city where the hotel is, is in the process of being pedestrianised. Road closures made it impossible to get to the hotel by car. We ended up parking about 10 minutes walk away to drop of our luggage and took the car back to the airport and returned it two days early. We had been planning to do this after we had dropped the luggage off, but it was quite stressful driving round the centre of Lyon for about half an hour before we discovered that it was impossible to drive to the hotel.

Everything is good, the room is on the smaller side. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, drinking water machine in the lobby is great idea.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, free coffee and water in the lobby, and they had A/C in the rooms. They kept our luggage before and after our stay.

This is a wonderful hotel it’s in a perfect location,your right in the middle of everything!!!!!

Nice hotel but particularly noisy in the mornings which made it difficult to sleep in. I wouldn’t return for this reason.

It was only 1 night. Breakfast was very good. Location is great.

It was exactly what we needed. It was a small hotel close to the "action" in Lyon. Close to great boutique shopping, restaurants, the Soane River and Old Lyon.

Great little hotel… not big… Only complaint was the noise at night. I think construction caused a long traffic jam… lots of honking.

Great room and stay for the price. Room was a little on small side but only stayed for a few days so not a big issue. Biggest asset was the free breakfast. Probably the best hotel breakfast I have ever had.

The hotel is very nice. It is well decorated, super well located, and it has a very nice vibe to it. The building is old, so there are a few things you should take into account: the elevator is small and slow, and halls are small and a bit inconvenient. But the rooms are big and well furnished, very clean, and very nice. The bathroom in my room was very spacey, and well equipped. The room itself had a balcony with a great view of the city, and very good heating. Breakfast was not outstanding, but it was more than good. Finally I should point out that the location is perfect, and very comfortable to walk or take public transport anywhere in the city. It is especially close to the old Lyon, which is great if you are visiting for tourism. In terms of parking, there is a parking garage right across the street from the hotel but I read it had bad reviews, so I used another by accident the river that was like 4 blocks away, but still very convenient. Parking an suv was not a problem there, although it was very expensive (this has nothing to do with the hotel of course, just a tip for others who might be looking into it). The bottom line is that the hotel was great and I would go back next time I’m in the city.
