The staff is extremely pleasant and friendly, especially at check-in. The food is excellent. However, the property needs a little love. The shower is very unsafe with no handrails.

Cleanliness in public areas, most specifically corridor doors nead a good clean

It was a comfortable bed for sleeping, clean tidy rooms and bathroom. Only thing that we found was the staff were not overly helpful to us in general.

Lots of parking available, room was big and very clean would have liked to have had an opening window but sure they would have moved me if I had asked.

Temperature of the room was set to 29 degrees. Very warm, there wasn’t a window to open but a smashed window that had plastic sheet over it. Mouldy milk found on the window seal. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful.

An affordable hotel with good facilities. Its a slightly older hotel but is clean and well kept with a nice bar and dining area. The breakfast buffet is very good. The staff are friendly and polite.

We used this hotel while walking the nearby Kennet & Avon Canal path. Friendly welcome. The room was spacious; the bed amazingly comfortable. Despite facing a main road, there was no road noise whatsoever due to the efficient triple glazing. A fridge would have been handy, but not a biggie. Room and bathroom very clean. Evening dinner and breakfast very good - tasty and fairly priced. Overall excellent value and would happily recommend and would use again if in the area.

Just am all round good experience

AVOID. Im a worker in the aldermaston area and stayed at the hotel with regret. I got a parking fine even though i registered car at front desk and spoke to the guy on reception. They later rescinded the parking fine after i complained but i still had to pay a 30 pound admin fee for a parking fine I shouldnt have got in the first place. The hotel have refused to pay for it even though it was their error. Spoken to citizen advice who have said that the hotel is responsoble as it is their property. The whole thing is a scam and they dont really care, whsn travelling for business you dont have time to be dealing with stuff like this.

The bed's were not fixed together to make a full queen/king. They kept moving apart which continually disturbed sleep as it felt like I was going to fall through the middle. The AC had a continual knocking noise which meant it had to be turned off during the night. Far from being a good nights rest!

Fantastic breakfast. The kind you'd expect to find in a 5 star hotel.

Check-in was fast and seamless. Staff very friendly in reception and bar. Food was very average in the bar/restaurant. Room was a little tired. AC did not work and was freezing cold, back-up Oil radiator didn't work (wouldn't power up). Staff were nice, just building and maintenance let them down.
