I didn’t like that there was large noticeable mold in room. Wet spots and water damage in bathroom. Bathroom was not properly clean and sanitized.

Arrived at 3:50, rooms not ready, waited until 4:30 still not ready. 10 other parties waiting. I had to go to an event and was told my room would be here when I got back. When I returned still no room and no solution. With 6 other parties also not having room. I asked if they were going to put us up in another hotel and no response. Finally cancelled and got a room myself. I still am being charged and will have to contest the charge.

The beds weren’t cleaned had to request news spreads. The night attendant told me that those weren’t burn marks and not green stains. We got in late from an event and weren’t able to leave to go elsewhere so we took off the linen and slept on the new spread I was given

This was one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a Holiday Inn... we get there at 8:30 pm (Check in is at 4) - they have no rooms ready. Blame it on the computer systems and then say they over booked. We along with countless other families were turned away at 9:30 pm with no where to go - With children might I add. My mother had checked in and let us stay in their room so they drove the 2 hours back home. When we woke up there was hardly no breakfast (pancake maker was messed up, bacon was undercooked, no eggs, and bagels were hard). I hate that we ended up having to pay $185 to stay here and my poor parents had to drive home and back the next morning. Plus, to make it worse the person dealing with the ordeal was rude and disrespectful to several of the guest. Will never stay here again!

Check in was a little hetic, around 4 O'clock and rooms were still being clean. Breakfast was .. well bad. I went 1 hour before closing , they were out of everything but bacon and sausage. Dirty area and not kept. Made me not want to eat anyhing at all. My room was clean when i got in there, but no trash can in the bathroom? If i come back to the area, i may look into staying else where

Checki-n was easy since I had reservations. Bathroom in room needed a good scrubbing. Had piece of blind on window torn and left laying on air conditioner upon entering room, not enough towels for 3 days stay in room for two people. Requested a cleaning person come and clean the room. Person came and only made the bed but took all towels and did not leave clean ones, Person did not clean anything else. Left the trash can over flowing and coffee grounds on floor beside the trash can.The next day we had a do not disturb sign out (something like that on the door), we came back to the room at the end of day and found someone had been in our room... left more towels. We had already gotten extra towels night before from the front desk. Two days there was no coffee cups at breakfast, one day no coffee, at breakfast, two days burnt bacon for breakfast. (Breakfast problems were on Friday and Saturday). Two out of the 3 nights we stayed our room key would not work. We had to go back to the front desk to get a new key. Our key wood not work on the days that we could tell someone else had been in our room. I think they control the air conditioner

Bed was very comfy and over all room was ok. Check in clerk very friendly, check out not so much. Biggest downer was coffee maker in room and breakfast place but not a coffee cup in sight. Not a very good way to run an inn. We will not return.

When we arrived we had a few problems. The staff readily helped with. The tv didn't work in the first room, and the room wasn’t as clean as I expected. We switched rooms, and this room was cleaned better. But the drain in the bathroom sink was very slow. Nothing was too big of a deal just a little inconvenient.

We got there and check in was good. It all changed after that. The room smelled, the window was covered in mold and mildew, the blind was all tattered, the bathroom floor was dirty, the shower curtain was so short it almost didn’t even touch the top of the tub and the sink had a hard time emptying. I pointed out all the issues to the front desk and had to run out to a military commissioning for my son. I asked them not to go up to the room without contacting my significant other by phone before going to the room. Before I could even call her, they were already up to the room and took a lot of time moving the shower curtain rod to accommodate the short curtain. After all of that with three guys in the room with her, they put on a longer shower curtain anyhow. and just to top it off the pool was completely green. One of the worst hotel stays. And it was a terrible area around the hotel. It was an industrial area.

On arrival, I looked for a luggage cart. Staff said they didn’t know where they were and told me to wait. After 20 minutes, I went looking floor by floor for a cart. Finally found one. No help from staff. Entered room, the temperature was set at 60 degrees. Freezing in the room. Next morning I went to shower. Only had Luke warm water and the faucet leaked. Went down for breakfast at 0745 and found most of the food was gone. Apparently a large group of workers pretty much cleaned everything out. No eggs, no cinnamon rolls, no yogurt, no muffins, and a bunch of rotten bananas. There were a good number of guests who came down for breakfast and encountered the same thing. Most people were pretty angry. Spoke with both staff and manager regarding this and they said they had no control over how much food each guest takes. I’ve seen people in the past walk out with a half dozen muffins and more. I mentioned perhaps limiting portions so that all could eat and was told that they couldn’t do that to their customers. I did remind them that I also was a customer and that I expect the same accommodations. I have stayed at HI Express for years and have never encountered such poor service. I don’t know if I will ever stay at HI Express again. No apologies, no empathy, nothing but BS from the staff!

Staff was friendly and willing to give information upon request. Bed was comfortable. But, there was mold in the bathroom door and walls, sink was clogged, to have breakfast you must go very early...at 8:30 am there was no coffee and some things were no longer available. The most important thing...there is NO water to drink! The small lobby store had NO water to sell and there were no vending machines in the property. We had to go to a Walmart to buy some water to prevent dehydration!!!

The room and front desk were great. There was no breakfast in the morning. The young man working in the kitchen should be praised for trying to be attentive to our needs. He got left holding the bag and facing the public. The answer we received was that the delivery truck had not come yet, so they were out of food, except bacon. Very poor planning on management's part. Worst i have ever encountered.
