Nice area local to everything

I have stayed here before and it was fine. When we arrived Friday night there was a large group of HS students and we could not go in the pool area. Saturday morning there was a sign that the pool would be closed for the weekend! Staff basically said there was nothing they could do since it was scheduled Maintenace. If it was scheduled they could have let us know when we checked in or made our reservation! I could have saved almost $100 going to a hotel across the street. We go to Laramie at least twice a year to ski and they have lost my and my friends business .

We only stayed for one night and everyone was so inviting and helpful.

As far as the hotel goes it was great. However at three am someone knocked on the door very hard and ran off. Then at nine am the fire alarm went off for about a minute. I suspect unsupervised children.

The checl in was GREAT. We arrived early and got a room. BUT the carpet in the room was vdry dirt and the room smelled musty. Would have tather waited for a BETTER Room. The furnace filter needed cleaned and the bottom of the shower could have used some bleach or comet cleanser.other than that the room was fine.

When we got into our room the bathroom was filled with water. It was leaking from the ceiling and started to puddle. They did move us to another room but should have never been put in there.

Good location to UW campus. Rooms are outdated and carpeting in room was dirty/old. Could easily hear what was happening in rooms above and next door. Front desk staff was friendly.

Asked at check in to be placed in quietest area possible. She puts me on the street noisy side and immediately next to others and below heavy walkers. Next day, they place a noisy family and kid right next to me. Very thin walls and ceilings. Wall air unit was extremely loud and buzzing. Many broken things around hotel. Pool and hot tub were tiny. Usually Holiday Inn is one of the better hotels. Not this place. Holiday Inn and IHG need to do some serious inspections and demands here. This is the Motel 6 of Holiday Inn. Only redeeming things were the Perkins attached and the internet speed was fast. But with the shape of the hotel, staff, and loud clientele, absolutely not worth the price. Motel 6 is the same quality and cheaper.
