Sadly the bathroom was in need of caulk as around the tub was mouldy,also the hot tub had mould at the bottom. On my checcking out I mentioned this to the receptionist and she was extremely rude to me my husband was listening and was quite shocked at her rudeness. We have stayed here many times and the hotel needs some updating as well as staff who know how to repspond to guests.Thank you

Staff were great! I had a special request and they were more than happy to help and make it a special time for us. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. Dinner was absolutely amazing. Had a great staycation!

Staff beyond excellent. Spotless in upkeep of a pristine property. All staff friendly and seem genuinely interested in making our stay perfect!

Overall, the walnut resort is a nice place to stay. For the calibre of the value that I was expecting, to me little things mean a lot. Maid service came by around nine to make up our room. We asked her to come back later. We left and returned about three hours later and the room is still not made up. The front end desk was helpful and promptly had a roommate up while we waited in the lounge area. We returned to the room, to see that the only thing done was that our bed was made. The kitchen was not restored to what it should be. In the bathroom, some things were amiss. One thing to watch for, is that the bedframe of the king size bed, it’s in corners of the frame, are a higher risk area for shin hits. I had a minor cut on my shin from hitting them, and my wife bruised her bone of her shin.

The hot tub and swimming pool are very clean. In the winter, there are not too many people so we can enjoy the hot tub for a long time. Rooms are clean. Staffs are very nice and helpful.

Staff weren't the nicest, pool needs to be warmer, no slippers for the pool!

Always a great spot for a staycation! Rooms always serviced and stocked with first class essentials. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. And the year around pool and hot tubs are perfect to enjoy on a crisp winter evening.
