Super hotel. Staff excellent. Very helpful. Food provided high quality. Breakfast was excellent, good quality food, well managed busy breakfast room. Room was super. Bed big and comfortable. Grounds of the hotel were very well maintained. Walkable distance to the city centre only 3km Lovely experience. Would happily return

Loved the spa. Massage was superb. Need grab bars in the shower for the elderly guests. THE FALCONRY WAS ONE OF THE BEST PARTS OF OUR WHOLE TRIP.

The property was clean, and the location was ideal—just a quick five-minute drive to downtown. We loved having access to the hiking trails right on the property. The breakfast was delicious, and learning about the estate’s fascinating history was a real highlight. I highly recommend this place to families, couples, and solo travelers alike.

Very relaxing and peaceful location

Hotel, staff and food in the restaurant were excellent. The swimming pool was very small, jacuzzi was not working.

The room was lovely, and the staff were great. When we arrived, two beautiful dogs were waiting at the hotel door. It was therapeutic after a long day of travelling overseas. The hotel is beautiful, and I especially enjoyed having a drink or two at Tupper's Bar. Will be staying here again the next time I'm in Kilkenny.

Enchanting experience. The bed was so comfortable and rooms were large! The grounds were breath taking. Multiple dining options and bar options.

Our absolute go to every time we visit our daughter in Kilkenny. It is a beautiful hotel. We look forward to our stay and will be back in June 💕

We had a lovely stay at Lyrath Estate from the 1st to the 4th of January. The hotel was still decorated for Christmas, which added to the festive feel. The staff were a standout. There were plenty of staff on hand, and everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous and helpful. It was like they embodied the character of the hotel, which was so refreshing and welcoming. The hotel itself is a gem, beautifully merging the old house with the new facilities. The room was spacious, well-appointed, comfortable, warm and quiet. The estate grounds are lovely - we walked the different trails each day. The food was amazing. We ate in the bar & grill, breakfast each day, plus we used the coffee dock. There are food options for all occasions, which added to the enjoyment of our stay. We look forward to staying at Lyrath again.

Good hotel

We thought everything was excellent. From checkin to room to spa and restaurants were all of a very high standard. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. I was very impressed and will return again.
