Missed out on our stay at this property due to a medication issue with my mother. But I'm sure it would have been top notch!

This hotel was the perfect location. We walked everywhere. The hotel staff was excellent, from the desk staff to the fantastic wait staff in the breakfast area. Great breakfast buffet every day. Including made to order eggs and omelets.

Expensive to park car overnight. Had to switch rooms due to a leak mid stay. Staff was helpful overall. Comfortable hotel

The location is great and the rooms are very spacious and nice. Be careful if you book a balcony as they are not all the same and not as pictured. If you can get a sea view balcony and get it in writing. The staff is fine but not overly friendly but maybe that’s cultural?

Hotel in excellent position. Room extremely small, dark with no view. Very minimal facilities at hotel.

Lovely old building converted into a hotel right across from the ocean. Great location. Helpful staff. Perfect spot to relax a bit during a packed site-seeing vacation.

Fantastic property in excellent location

Our only problem was the ac not cold or not even working maybe. It has ceiling fan but it’s just too noisy. We had the smallest room and it is small 😂 apart from that it’s all good, great area too. We walk everywhere. Very nice breakfast

Comfort room was too small, especially the bathroom and very hot and humid, although not warm outside. Dust under the window borders and the bed, a lot. Sink drain was rusted and foam was coming out.

We had boked a "SPAA" room but they switched us to a "hammam" room instead. It was great.

Everything about our stay was terrific. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Sabrina. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was very tasty. Ortigia is an ideal place to stay, easily accessible to sites in Siracusa. We would definitely love to return

Very nice hotel and a great location on the water. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go.

Siracusa has been the highlight of our 10 days in Sicily so far and Algilà Ortigia was a great place to visit. Staff was friendly and several went out of their way to be helpful. We are good walkers and could walk to all parts of Ortigia, the island you want to stay on, and be there within 15 minutes. We had a junior suite that was large with several separate areas. Full service breakfast was good, not great. Bed was very big but not the most comfortable Despite these minor things, all four of us loved the hotel and location

The hotel’s customer service is exceptional both restaurant, reception and room service. The location is ideal. The only watch out is the standard double classic rooms are very small and often facing into a courtyard so a bit dark. I would recommend going for a superior or oven view room.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location for walking around Ortigia. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and the room was clean and tastefully furnished. Great place in a beautiful part of Sicily.
