Great spacious clean lodge. Beautiful grounds. Pool water was cold unfortunately.

The English breakfast was good. We stayed at the Flint House. The room was sufficiently large and the bed comfortable. Had issues with the temperature in the room. Asked for the advertised space heater and was told they were all dispersed and none available. Also the water pressure to the toilet was very weak. However, even with these issues the stay was pleasant enough.

Second time staying at a woodland lodge. Although looking a bit tired in places they are great value for money. Very spacious,in a lovely setting and with full amenities.

Room, staff, food all amazing. We were wowed on arrival! Was a little disappointed with cleanliness of the bathroom, had been cleaneed but a few stray hairs lingering around that took the shine off. The pool was as expected- would really benefit from a refurb! Would return

A fantastic two nights stay was had recently at this lovely hotel for me and my Assistance Dog, Remi. The staff were wonderful, welcoming to us both and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a memorable experience. Thank you to all, names elude me but one I remember is Dom (front of house) The restaurant staff were also brilliant (I’ll make a point of naming them when I stay again in a couple of weeks time….have enjoyed so much I had to come back!!) The rooms are excellent, clean, tidy with fantastic views (front or rear) the beds extremely comfortable and the silence is wonderful….makes for a great night’s sleep. The bar is intimate, comfortable and a perfect place for a pre dinner drink as is the lounge area. Only other review is for the Restaurant! The chef is fantastic….he/she happily adapts the menu (within reason) and the quality is spot on (this from me that was a Chef at the Goring Hotel!!) Breakfast is generally a buffet (hot and cold) with plenty of choice, good quality ingredients and perfect to start the day with. All in all this is a gem in the Kent Countryside with historical relevance in its history. Final note……I’m not a golfer or a swimmer!!! Both a golf course and indoor pool are available and am told (speaking to guests) both are ‘rather quite good’

Flint cottage part of hotel amazing, clean and spacious, bed so comfy and bath superb . Pool lovely too and had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back. Short trip to Canterbury made it an easy place to visit

Lovely place to spend the weekend. Beautiful buildings steeped in history. We stayed in the flint cottage which is separate from the main building, which was Lord Kitcheners temporary home while the main house was being renovated. The room was very pleasant, the bed was super comfortable. The only annoyance was there were bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower but they were all empty. We dined in the restaurant for evening and breakfast and afternoon tea and all the food was exceptional. The Cathedral is approximately 15 minute drive and well worth a visit with a good selection of nice shops also. All in all a lovely weekend for us and I would have no hesitation in repeating the visit or recommending Broome Hall Park.

We had a ground floor room in flint cottage. The property lacked soundproofing as we were disturbed by the people in the room above us. The food was ok but if you are going to charge premium prices you need to use much better quality food.

Good breakfast, the lodge was fantastic had everything we needed, the pool was cold & a disappointment, but everything else was amazing!

My second stay here and the experience both times has been very similar. It is a stunning building in beautiful grounds. Some of the staff are really nice but some really couldn't care less. On this trip the gentleman on breakfast just barked "room number" when I approached. He didn't offer me any tea or coffee either - although I heard him offer someone else some. Maybe he forgot or maybe he didn't like the look of me. I also had a problem with the automatic blinds. They are remote control - the remote control did not work. I reported it to the front desk and when I returned there was no update and they still didn't work. So no privacy. The room was spacious and pleasant to be in but some of the team members let this place down!

We chose this hotel for our wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday. Before our stay, I sent an email but received no response. When we arrived, we found out the hotel has no lift, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs ourselves — there were 60 steps. The room was nice and clean. However, every time we used the hot water, there was a loud noise coming from the pipes. On the third day, I asked for the room to be cleaned and noticed that the bed sheets had not been changed. On the fourth day, they still weren’t changed, which was a very negative and disappointing point. The breakfast was fairly good and acceptable. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms are stunning, clean and spacious. Unfortunately when I messaged about booking pool time, (which they advised) I did not receive a reply. Room service took a while to reply but were great when they did.

The property was clean with some functional issues Shower glass not fixed and leaking onto the floor.Oven not heating up correctly all reported.Overall good value for money

Stayed in one of the lodges and found it very comfortable.

It wasn’t to our taste though maybe golfers love it. Very noisy toilet, bathroom lighting like an operating theatre, huge echoing bedroom and sitting room which ought to have felt luxurious but were without cosiness or amenities that women guests in particular might want, eg somewhere nice to sit and put makeup on. Grand without being comfortable.

The room was clean but smelled very musty

The breakfast buffet was great the days it was available and the other day/2 it was a set menu with many options. A big thank you to Teagan who was very accommodating from before we stayed. She made sure everything was in order for our stay and she and her team were a godsend when collecting and dropping my mum off to our lodge cabin in the hotel buggy. This meant that she was mobile due to her walking disability. Overall it was a nice stay and lovely break. Looking forward to next year! Thanks to again to Teagan, Luke and the team.
