Excellent location, clean and staff very helpful

Stay at this property! Their breakfast buffet is awesome, they serve bacon/eggs, delicious fresh pastries and fruit and a whole lot more. City center is about a 12 minute walk where there are plenty of restaurant options.

Awesome stay! Beautiful property with helpful staff and a great breakfast

We called to have a room that was not noisy, but when we arrived and checked in, they placed us into the first room closest to the front desk. We were awakened by people checking out and music during breakfast. Additionally, the shower was incredibly small and it was hard to move around in. This is our biggest complaint. Otherwise, the hotel room was clean and complementary breakfast was decent.

Absolutely lovely hotel just outside the old town of Otranto. Beautifully designed and very comfortable with 2 levels of outdoor patio with seaside views. There is a gym and spa and a jacuzzi for use (small fee). Great breakfast and comfortable beds!

Just outside the old town, an easy stroll to all the sights. The hotel is stylish with friendly staff. Lovely terrace, only small issue is the bar shuts early. We will return, oh and great breakfast

The hotel and staff are great- but the rooms are tiny. There was nowhere to store clothes- the wardrobe space was open and set about six feet off the floor. The clothes hangers were fixed so I had to scramble onto a seat to get my clothes. I am 5 feet so no use for me.

Comfortable stay. Room was good size. Food and service at breakfast was excellent. Nice breakfast terrace. Not the best location, uphill from town.

Free parking a little out of the way. Difficult to find. Small shower. Doors would swing open. No mirror in the room. Front reception very friendly.

Superb staff, all of whom went above and beyond the call of duty to help us with dinner reservations, beach reservations, directions etc. Clean, quiet, a great breakfast every day—superb!

A beautiful property on the hill overlooking Otranto. We stayed for a night and should have stayed longer. Gin and tonic on the terrace was fantastic. The rooms were great and very close to town.

My wife and I are very selective. We were surprised to read some mixed reviews of this hotel. It was perfect. The room was small but clean and positive and great. The bathroom and shower were wonderful. The staff was charming. And the location, perfect. I took morning swims and it was a less than ten minute walk to the beautiful beaches. The same for the town. I would recommend this hotel as the perfect place to stay in Otranto and of all the towns we’ve seen in Puglia, Otranto the ideal seaside town

Superb hotel and excellent staff. Lovely Breakfast with real coffee! Good location and nice views. One minus - horrible plastic backed mattress protector!

Service was great and room clean. Breakfast should change now and then. After 4 days...a bit repetitive.

The people are fantastic…. The best. Room had a great blackout shade but that was negated by a glass bathroom door with a window in the bathroom so the room was too bright in the early morning.

The staff at Valle dell'Idro Relais were so friendly and helpful from helping us book a last minute boat trip to helping us sort some luggage we left behind. Lovely clean, stylish and comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast area. I would stay again.
