Everything was satisfactory until the morning of checkout. My wife went for a run in the morning, and the bellboy ran after her to ask if she was going to check out, as if she intended to steal from the premises. This occurred at 9:30am, although check-out was not until 12 p.m. After we completed the checkout process, the bellboy refused to assist us with our luggage. He merely watched as I carried the luggage down the stairs and into the taxi, without offering any help or taking any action. I believe that hotels should exercise great caution in their hiring procedures. Although it was a holiday in Colombia, it is not the guest’s fault if an employee is having a bad day.

The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to Santa Fe Shopping Mall. Breakfast was great with lots of choice in both local and international options. The hotel itself I found a bit outdated. The floor of our room (415) had marks and spots on it which, at first glance upon arrival, makes you think that the room had not been cleaned. The mirrors as well had fingerprints on it.

Excellent hotel in Medellin

The breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the fresh fruit and natural juices, the pool was great, and the staff are the best of all Medellin, and the hotel is located next to a beautiful Mall, I will be back again to this hotel

I will put the review I wish someone else put for me. This is NOT a 5 star hotel. I repeat, NOT a 5 star hotel. They don’t even understand the concept. Bed hard as a rack, I barely slept. It lacks basic amenities, staff rarely smiles and when I asked for sanitary towel, they looked at me like I was crazy. Mirror hanging half off the wall, phone not functional so having to go downstairs for every little thing and in 5 days they failed to correct it. They leave 2 dingy over sized towels for the entire day which left white residue on your body so if you shower twice you now need to go downstairs to request one and don’t expect to get it for hours. It took 3 days to get me 2 wash cloths which they never replaced for the rest of the stay. Booked a spa treatment and asked to arrive 15 minutes early which we did and after 20 minutes no one showed up. I tried to check out early and they gave me a hard time. I’m now settled into a more decent closer to 5 star hotel minutes away. If it was ranked 3 stars, I would have given it a 7/10. Don’t expect a 4 season treatment in Medellin. I’ve been here 3 times and sampled 50% of everything claiming to be 5 starts.
