Excellent!

Quaint & lovely with an authentic German clement combined with modern touches - in a lovely garden district suburb of Dusseldorf in Essen - built in the early 1900’s. Great for walking

Room is OK but the curtains need to be fixed.

Very good restraint with 1st class service

This was the be of my favorite properties on a multi-city trip. This hotel is so unique. It's quiet, updated, impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Wish we stayed longer it was so nice!

Good food, clean room, large room and friendly staff

I usually never write reviews but their service, hospitality and kindness makes this the best experience I could ask for, especially for my first time in Essen, Germany. The area is quaint and connected to a neighborhood that makes it feel welcoming and authentic. But the staff is what makes this place shine, they are the heart of my stay and went out of their way to make sure I always felt at home.

Nice hotel, big room, good service. The only minus point is the pillow which was far too soft.

Everything was perfect. Nice staff. Good food. Was exactly what we were looking for.

Hotel was very nice, Staff very nice also. Location impressive, a couple of stops on the Tram to City Center but it felt like being in the Country. Food was very good although Breakfast is extra. Coffee making facilities in Room but sadly the supplies were not replenished even though I was there for 3 nights.

Schön gelegenes Hotel und sehr freundliches Personal ! Würde mir beim nächsten mal aber mein eigenes Kopfkissen mitbringen. ;)

Hotel muito bonito numa zona muito arranjada e linda. Funcionários simpáticos. Pequeno almoço caríssimo, mas com boas opções perto.

Alles gut, bis auf eine nicht abstellbare relativ laute Klimaanlage, die sich zwar irgendwann abends abschaltet, aber frühmorgens leider wieder automatisch angeht
