Wonderful place to stay, Poipu is a great area to visit.

Ten days in paradise!

We loved that we could walk to the beach very easily. There are daily activities like yoga, ukulele lessons, etc. The pool and hot tub were nice especially after a day of hiking or surfing. The staff was great, they gave great recommendation on places to see on the island. There was only 2 downsides, one was how expensive the food at the restaurant is in comparison to other places around the island, including other resort restaurants. Second is that the parking is $40/day unless you park the car along the main road and walk back to the resort, which we were never told and figured out ourselves the second to last day we were there. Nonetheless this is a perfect place if you want a relaxing quiet space to vacation. It does not get rowdy, that’s not the vibe as all.

Quiet resort in front of the ocean. Beach adjacent to the property down few steps directly to the sand on a beautiful small beach. Rental chairs and umbrella at the resort for reasonable price. Surf lesson available at the resort. Restaurant on site is excellent. Rooms ground level partial ocean view with seating area are excellent location. Highly recommended

Great location near restaurants, hiking, water activities and shopping. Very quiet and not crowded which really contributed to a relaxing vacation. The small size makes it more intimate but limits amenities. Uneven staff training - valets were great, concierge was worse than useless. Paid for a special chef's dinner ($$$$) which was fun - somelier and wine were excellent, but the food fell short of expectation. Go to Merriman's instead. Would stay here again because of the location and the relaxing ambience.

Simple elegance in a beautiful setting. Staff was amazing!

The beach was very rocky. Too much effort needed to stay away while snorkeling. Guests would put their towels down for the day and leave them there. They need to have someone to take away towels that haven't been occupied for a half an hour. There weren't enough lawn chairs available to even sit on. If you to a chair down to the beach, you had to rent it. There wasn't a spot to grab a coffee in the morning without having to sit down for breakfast or taking a box to go. Ridiculous food &drink prices.

Wry nice room but decks are small with no privacy. When people in next room were on their deck they could see into our room. The front desk personnel were not helping file with directions l. They actually said that a destination wanted directions to were not on their list. The parking valet attendants were friendly and helpful as was housekeeping

Beautiful boutique hotel with a relaxing vibe. All staff team members were great and very accomodating to all of our needs. Would like to especially applaud Dawn at the front desk, night shift . We didn't quite change over to the time zone and she was such a delight in the early morning hours, even grabbing coffee for me before Normal Cafe hours . A true delight was an invitation for wine tasting by the lovely owners and their children . These special touches sealed the deal for us, we will be returning !

We checked in very late due to flight cancellations. They were very accommodating & helpful! Only wish we could stay another night to enjoy the property.

Location awesome, wonderful friendly staff, excellent food, premier chef meals. We enjoyed almost every aspect of this resort but… Only complaint is the bed is way overdue for replacement. For the price of these rooms the beds should be more premium. We feel this would hold us back from rebooking.

Excellent in every aspect - a perfect size resort with Personal service - great location- it was a last minute decision as our original Airbnb reservation was unacceptable -via a typical bait and switch tactic. Should have booked with KOA KEA from the beginning!

This was our first time at Ko’a Kea and we loved it! The area was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful. We would de stay again!

Great Property

The Location was great, right on the beach near one of the most beautiful areas of Kauai.

Had an older Hawaiian vibe to it and well maintained.

Quiet and without crowds. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
