I like the floors are not carpet but wood lament. I like there is just a nice size shower and not a bath tub. It was fresh and modern. With a nice outside sitting area for breakfast.

Very friendly staff. Family owned and operate it appear. Comfortable and very friendly.

Do not stay at this hotel! My two children and I drove in a little early and were told by the front desk woman that “our room wasn’t clean and come back at 3.” (Without even checking my name) Bathrooms are full of mold, holes covered with tape in the walls and the bathroom had ants! We tried to us the pool and found it had cigarette butts floating in it. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I booked my room in early February for a June stay and as we were on our way to Ashland they called us and said that there was a glitch through Expedia and they didn’t have our room available (we needed two queens) so they put us at their sister property which was “nicer”. And we could use their amenities (like we were going to drive all the way over there to use the pool?) Well nicer is a relative term and it was farther from SOU, the place we ended up staying didn’t even have room keys that worked so we had to ask the front desk to come let us in our room anytime we as a family left.

Staff is awsome, prices are affordable, property is cute

A lot of the rooms had long term tenants that were obvious drug abusers. Made even me a little nervous for my vehicle

The room was small, no table to eat or write at, no chairs, no place to put a suitcase. I had to ask for towels and two people were yelling at each other for quite a long time on the property. I think you get better rooms when you book directly. The breakfast and coffee also is not available until 8 a.m., not the best if you want to leave early.

Great stay, updated rooms, nice bed, amazing large hot tub, very quiet, friendly staff.

Spiders in the room. They offered breakfast which was not good quality. I do not recommend this place.

Nice accomodations.

Clean and simple, the cast of characters in the breakfast space were quite eye opening but friendly. Our favorite place was sold out and this was fine for a nights sleep.

Not a great place not a bad place. It was under repair when I got there.

The best thing about the property was the comfortable bed. Whoever did the remodel on the rooms did a really tacky job. The breakfast was out of things when we got there at 9am. There were trip hazards. The older man at the front desk was hard to communicate with. The office and rooms smelled funny. I would not stay there again and i would not recommend it to my friends.

There was a step that was rotten and seemed unsafe at the entrance of our room. The television was not functioning on a normal level because it would keep changing channels on it's own and we could not keep a channel on unless we would constantly keep pressing a button on the remote, very annoying. The linen and beds were just great and comfortable and best part of the room.

Old facility, but recently refurbished. The staff were courteous and helpful. Beds and linens were clean, but carpet definitely needed to be vacuumed and bathroom needed maintenance.

It’s a return visit here. The family who owns this sweet, charming and spacious hotel are kind, and professional. The rooms are cozy and clean. When visiting Ashland, I would never stay elsewhere. 💜
