The Zen theme of the decorations was very well done. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff and quiet location. Pizza was very good. Transfer to the beach is back is very convenient.

We stayed here for a night after flying into Malaga and ended up coming back with our outbound flight too! Price is extremely reasonable for the standard. Hotel is impeccably clean in both rooms and common areas. The staff were great, very helpful and the shuttles to and from the airport and the beach make it so easy. The food in the restaurant was lovely, pizzas were fab and price of drinks were reasonable. Our only criticism is that the walls are quite thin so if you are a light sleeper, it may be worth bringing earplugs! We would 100% stay again!

Nice holiday hotel. Peaceful. Pool. Private balcony where you can sit and look out over the city to the sea.

A calm and convenient hotel for one night before an early morning flight. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable (if a bit worn). The hotel restaurant was surprisingly good, too!

Few teething problems to start with wrong bed in room getting a kettle & shuttle service, reception staff not all on the same wave length imo tryed to be helpful a guess, room cleaned everyday & fresh towels cleaning staff were exceptional, room spacious & nice bathroom, not sure the pool was heated my freezer felt warmer, food was nice & Bar service 30 Mins walk to centre of torremelinos, 10 min to la Colina station nothing else much around a few shops odd cafe, tapas, McDonald's, Burgar King in walking distance too..

Clean, comfortable hotel. Great staff. And great value. Location is a bit remote if you don’t have a car. Airport shuttle is a bonus

IT WAS OK, THE IRISH BAR WAS NOT OPEN AND IT WAS A BIT FAR FROM EVERYTHING

After several calls and a 1 hour wait the shuttle finally picked us up from the airport. To use the once every 2 hours return the next day, you MUST be able to show a boarding pass. We had not checked in, so didn't have a boarding pass, and was refused a ride. We stood in the rain and watched a half empty shuttle leave for the airport while waiting for our Uber. The staff are very unhelpful and aggressive. To get to the room, you have to leave the reception, cross the carpark and climb a very steep path. Next morning in the rain it was treacherous, nothing to hold onto. The room was tiny and badly maintained, a small worn out bed and a falling apart toilet seat. Breakfast was basic. Only hot sausage, bacon and torte. Missing even continental items, no rolls, fruit yogurt, or fresh fruit. Set on a hillside in a residential area, not close to the airport or the resort. I would recommend forgetting about shuttle, pay less and take an uber to a nicer hotel in the resort.

Nothing zen about this hotel. Many weird clients with young children talking loud constantly and even shouting in the alley and the bar next to the reception until 23h30. We could also hear the people next to our room and above. Couldn’t get enough sleep as we had an early flight. Good for one night only.

Very clean, easy access. The only point was that I asked for the shuttle by email, in advance and when I arrived it was full at the time I needed for the airport so I took a cab (15€). Other than that it was nice and clean. Staff not very warm but didn’t experience it very long

Cost effective but lovely.

Hotel Zen was a wonderful experience! As a member of the USA National Triathlon Team I was looking for a convenient, quiet and uniquely Spanish property that was close to our race venue for the World Championships and hotels where other athletes were staying (on the beach). Hotel Zen was this and much more! The property - traditional Spanish architecture is located in a residential neighborhood - quiet with the occasional happy dog or lawn mower hum to be heard and just a short ~2k walk to the beach and other big box hotels. Short downhill at first than mostly flat. Plenty of conveniences nearby including grocery and la pharmacia. The room was comfortable and efficient - just right for me. Restaurant had a delicious Italian style menu for dinner and the breakfast buffet was an excellent assortment of meats, cheeses, traditional American breakfast items and of course coffee, lattes, juices, etc. But the most wonderful experience was the friendliness of the staff. They quickly became mi familia away from home. We were all on a first name basis! If you’re looking for a wonderful, family friendly, quiet but uniquely Torremolinos boutique that a super-cost effective Hotel Zen is it. I’ll forever remember this experience - largely because of Hotel Zen and its staff!

Great place for a short stay staff are lovely and friendly, not much to do near hotel but they do offfer free transfer to beach aswell as airport . Thank you all for a very welcoming stay

Het was een heel fijn hotel, heel schone kamer, jammer alleen dat in onze kamer de wastafel niet kon leeglopen! Denkelijk is de hendel aan de kraan kapot! Kamer 109. Het Italiaanse restaurant was prima . Super prettig is de gratis airport shuttle.

Staff were excellent. Good facilities including a gym, swimming pool and bar. A bonus that they had food available for evening meal. Good hotel with free shuttle to airport.
