This place is depressing, grim, and unsafe. The front desk is covered by a plexiglass shield with a slot you pass your credit card and ID through-the first thing you see when you check in. There was a man loitering in the parking lot who looked homeless but came into the office while I was checking in and appeared to be some sort of security guard. Most bizarre of all is that the room had been stripped of all comfort and amenities. The breakfast bar with the coffee maker shown in the picture was gone from the room. There was a dorm room refrigerator with a microwave on top of it and a coffee maker sitting on the desk in the room. There was an old, scruffy office chair pushed up to the desk. The overhead light fixture was missing as were all the lamps in the room. The only light source were to florescent lights over the bed-harsh, unpleasant and migraine-inducing. The only furniture in the room other than the desk was the queen sized bed, a tiny chest of drawers stuck under the window, and bedside tables on either side with no phone to call the front desk, no lamps, and no place to charge a cell phone. There was one picture hung almost to the ceiling on one wall, no carpet, no rugs, and no color on the walls. The flip latch lock on the door was broken, so I rolled the desk chair over and stuck it under the doorknob. I checked out after the first night because I felt so unsafe and was so uncomfortable. The missing amenities made me wonder what goes on in the rooms.

Absolutely DO NOT STAY! stayed one night in rm 209 and left with disgusting bites all over my hands, arms and leg!!! Horrible!!

The hotel was overall average but location wise poor, noisy rooms and I couldn’t sleep at all. One of my worst experiences. I thought the people on top of our room was going to start a fight or a fire. Crazy I was really scared.

This motel is a satisfactory place to stay. Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom and convenient parking. It had a microwave and a refrigerator. Negatives: ceiling light didn’t work, but then went on 3 hours after we arrived and tv remote didn’t work properly. For the price, I’d still stay there again if I needed to.

Nice place for a quick stop or even a overnight trip also ......or a few days ...its convenient, right of the highway....a lot of different for venue , come check it out for yourself and you tell me what you think ...

Location convenience

The room above me was like they were animals staying there at all time sound like someone was running and jumping my last night was good guess they lef.

As someone who travels often and seen it all I'd recommend here without hesitation. The girl running the front was great. Extremely helpful and nice. Rooms were clean, nice and better than much more expensive hotels. Well worth the price.

My stay at the Red Roof Inn Copiague was excellent. My room was very clean. The refrigerator and microwave were working in perfect order. Great location for restaurants. Staff was very pleasant. Plenty of parking. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Extremely noisy heater

I had no issues with being at this place.

I have video and photo of my room lock not working when I asked to change rooms I was told “it was fine” I was so scared all night I didn’t sleep. Awful waste of time and money. I had to put my luggage against the door to block it. There were men outside my fort most of the night. I was scared but already spent the money and didn’t have enough to change hotels.

When we first checked in tv remote had only one battery. When we finally got another the tv wasn’t working at all. In the morning we told the lady at the front desk and she informed us that we had to tell the front desk…later that night we told the gentlemen that was working that night and he helped us fix it.
