Overall a pleasant stay and the staff were very nice and helpful. On the down side our breakfast was cold. The service in the bar, it was not busy, was slow and/or not always maned. No brandy glasses were available for Brandy, it was served in a whiskey glass and on another occasion a port glass! No Sauvignon wine available.

This was our second stay here. Unfortunately this time we were put in a room at the top of the stairs, meaning we had quite a lot of traffic walk past from quite early in the morning - which woke us up. It was our first stay away without our 1 year old so we had been looking forward to a lay in. The room we had last time was beautiful, this time the room itself was good but the bathroom was quite tired. The views from both rooms has been amazing. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Would stay again but would request to not have that particular room.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was good and drinks in the bar were reasonably priced. We stayed in the cottage, which was decorated nicely and very spacious.

It was lovely. Room very nice and spacious and clean . Love the jacuzzi bath.Tea and coffee in the room were not the quality I expected. They were the basic sachets I would get at a cheap hotel. The hotel would benefit by having higher quality beverages, maybe a pod machine and nice tea. Service was excellent. Dining was really good. It was so nice having a sea view. Overall our stay was very nice and we would stay again.

It’s supposed to be 4 star? I’ve no idea who gave them that, the 3 star Dales is much better. I booked this on Expedia as it said pool, it doesn’t have a pool! A sister hotel miles away has a pool, this is trade descriptions and you will be reported as I paid what I did because I thought I could swim. Should get my money back or the very least a discount!!

The accommodation was superb the first receptionist was not very friendly I asked for a lobster pick for my lobster meal and didn’t know what I meant and brought me a toothpick the presentation of my lobster meal wasn’t good you could not see the salad underneath apart from that it was a good couple of days 👍👍

Beutifull setting, with excellent staff and facilities. We went to the Sea Marge as a surprise burthday treat for my wife. Specially Cromer because it is famous for crabs. She chose Crab Thermidor salad for dinner. It was vile to say the least. The crab was a shopbought dressed crab with a dollup of gunge on top and then heated in a grill or similar. The salad was dried up and inedible.

The hotel was pleasant and the sea view from our room was lovely. The grounds were OK. Friendly reception team. Dining room team were awkward and despite letting the hotel know beforehand and again at check in that I am a vegan, I was only offered a vegan dessert when I asked. There were none on the menu. I had to pull the table offered out from the wall as there was no room for me and my elderly mum to sit down otherwise. The bathroom could have been cleaner but it was OK.

Stayed for 2 nights beginning of May in a deluxe room, allocated room 2 which is lovely, comfortable, very spacious, with four poster bed, seating area and huge bathroom with a bath and a shower. Great views from both rooms of the sea and gardens. There is a disadvantage of this as it also facing the bar terrace area so if people are quiet and respectful all good, but could be an issue if not. Also the lift is next to this room which is quite noisy, luckily it wasn't going too much while we were there, but think this should be mentioned on booking or reflected in the price. We didn't have the house keeping do our room as we were only there for 2 nights, but on the first morning we were awakened from our lie in by a rather noisy staff member talking so loudly I could tell you his conversation, which was a bit annoying. The hotel need to train their staff on the importance of keeping their voices hushed when they are around the bedrooms as not all guests are checking out. The hub that they all work from is a couple of doors down so I would keep this in mind if you are booking a deluxe room. One other niggle is the fact that we were hoping to have a swim at the sister hotel as on our booking it said we would get a pass, but even though we paid nearly £400 for 2 nights,we were advised this was £6 extra each. We didn't eat at the hotel as thought breakfast was overpriced, and the dinner menu vegetarian options were not to our taste, and one dish called a cauliflower steak was £17!

The staff were out standing, there was one member of staff that we thought had been there for a long time but he had only been there for 3 days he was wonderful with information, a nod to the chefs the food was fantastic, bus service to Cromer was good, would definitely recommend this hotel
