We were able to make the reservations easily the evening before our check in, the place is in a great location of the town of Menton & near the train station. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view from the balcony. I’d 100% stay here again especially considering reception notified us that we’ll receive a discount next time if we order directly through their website.

I loved our time in Menton, it is the most charming town on the French Riviera! I definitely want to return. The hotel was in a prime location close to the train station, beach, central Menton and more! I would definitely stay here again but one thing that was difficult was the AC. The AC didn't really work and so it was really hot in the room. The staff were super friendly and showed us around Menton! I would recommend staying here minus the AC problem.

My second visit in 8 months - Wonderful ! Everything. I love this hotel. Thank you for letting me leave my suitcase early. Super fast & friendly welcome, check-in & check-out. I sleep So well here. Great bed, pillows, perfect coffee, excellent shower, brilliant location. Lovely view. I forgot my phone charger - realised at the station - hustled back & Lovely Fatima had it waiting for me with the other ladies - Such a Relief! These ladies are amazing. I ran back to station to catch train to Nice 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❤️

We had a lovely stay in Hotel Richelieu. The staff was friendly and rooms were clean. There is a lift if you carry heavy luggage. There is an air conditioner but we didn’t use it as the room was cool enough. Great location near shops and beach. The hotel has kept the old French Riviera feel to it. Over all happy with our stay and would recommend it.

I am a repeat guest and my experience is that all you could need for a stay in lovely Menton, is nearby, especially if you do not wish to drive. Basic accommodation…but it is fine. Lovely Cinzea will make you most welcome.

Second time I have stayed here. Really nice room, too. Air-conditioning most welcome during heat-wave. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Breakfasts are available, but only have rather sugary options. Bedroom clean and comfortable. Shower room compact, but good soaps provided, and temperature control very good - but don't catch the lever when manoeuvring ! TV has usual 20+ French channels, 3 Italian, 2 German but only 1 in English ( the rather repetitive BBC World.) Hotel is very central in Menton, and close to the "Republique" bus stop, for the excellent Navette service, which is a FREE battery-powered bus, doing a circuit of the town every 20 minutes, up to around 7pm. At the price, would be happy to stay in this hotel again.

The location is great and lovely to have air conditioning. While the housekeeping staff was polite and lovely, the reception staff yelled at my husband for entering the reception room to ask about a bottle opener. The hours were inconsistent for the doors to lock in the evenings (supposed to be locked from 9pm but locked at 7:45 the first night). The housekeepers seem to be doing their best but the shower was falling apart and moldy.

Conveniently located hotel to all you need in Menton and also public transport.

Great check in, really friendly helpful man. The room was great for what we needed, it was really clean and was cleaned daily. Would have been helpful for them to restock the shower gel sachets but they didn’t. There’s a tiny lift that’ll take you up to your floor or you can walk the stairs. We were on the second floor, the room at the very end of the corridor furthest from the lift, I think 2,18. Avoid this room at all costs, the communal toilet is right next to it and so is a storage cupboard and 2/3 big metal cabinets that the housekeeping staff store their cleaning products etc - from around 6am you’re kept awake, the housekeeping staff going to these lockers every few minutes and their keys banging and them making loads of noise, it was a nightmare and spoilt our stay. They had already confirmed they were fully booked so there’s weren’t any rooms to change to. For that reason the stay was unpleasant. But if you get another room well away from that area it may be better. It’s a really great location and the price was good. Didn’t try the breakfast as there’s plenty of places around Menton or supermarkets nearby for croissants etc. Also 1 pillow with no spares in the room isn’t ideal, pretty sure people want 2 really.

Super friendly staff and very good location!

A lovely quaint Family run hotel very close to the waterfront in busy Menton. The owner and his son could not have been more friendly . I would recommend this hotel for its proximity.

The hotel is located in a very walkable area. The staff was very helpful. They are located right on the main road. We put our flashers on and went up for check-in. In the room we stayed in, the bathroom door is transparent glass. ( Pls put in a curtain to create privacy.)
