One of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed at. The staff is absolutely amazing - from the restaurant, the housekeeping to the beach! Special shout out to Amr and Diaa from the beach /beach bar team for going above and beyond to look after us. It is possible to do some snorkeling directly from the beach. The water is crystal clear. The buffet doesn’t leave anything to be desired! If you consider staying in Soma Bay dont bother looking at other hotels- this is by far the best option! True value for money! You get free water in the rooms and on the beach. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back! Thank you to the entire Team at Kempinski Soma Bay!

Very nice property. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous, and as an added bonus, they even have several german speaking guest relations employees. And the food is wonderful and very varied. The Breakfast and Dîner Buffets are extremely rich and savory. The Pool and Beach areas are great, and the rooms are beautifully appointed.

The Kempinski in soma bay is a beautiful hotel located in a quiet bay with a clean massive sandy beach, azure waters and mountains in the horizon. The service is truly 5 star - everyone was like how do I make the stay special especially staff at the beach and manager at sultan bar (tharos). Loved the stay and will highly recommend.

Great overall hotel, great facilities, generally quiet and calm, great food, especially breakfast, and service although a little stretched at breakfast times.

Great housekeeping and reception staff. Restaurant excellent. Beach supberb too. Minor gripe, some breakfast waiters were sullen.

A proper five star resort. While the design is a little bit outdated, but the service is top class and you feel like royality.

Quiet, clean, food, beach, service and everything

It took around 40mins to check in which was far too long. I was allocated the room I had booked and was only given the room upgrade when I pointed out this was part of the VIP Expedia access. The hotel and facilities were great especially the pool and beach area and the staff were very helpful and nice

Great beach and very nice facilities full of activities.

We got partial ocean view (really just a sliver) rooms and half board. The rooms were large and very clean with big balconies. The resort was very clean and super well maintained. Even though they said they were at capacity it never felt busy there. The beach is pristine with tons of seating any time of the day. The staff were always there to take care of everything and were extremely friendly. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the house reef off the pier which was some of the best diving I have done, reef is very healthy. Only issue we ran into is the rental gear for snorkeling was poor quality. Better to rent from the dive shop at the pier. Food was great. We ate in the Asian restaurant once, a beach grill once and the rest at the main restaurant. If eating away from the main restaurant it is very easy to exceed the meal plan credit. In general though this was extremely relaxing and wonderful, it is the best of Mexican all inclusive resorts with Fiji quality beaches but way cheaper than both.

the hotel is too old and the smell in the lobby and at breakfast was annoying, also the beds in the room had a peculiar smell, there were three of us in the room and they brought an old bed for the child, in general the hotel needs a major overhaul

Staff is friendly and food is excellent. Didn’t like that we had to pay for water

I spent hours & hours at the front desk trying to explain to them that my expedia reservation included half board package for both rooms that i reserved yet they kept arguing that i need to spend $80 per night to have dinner. I am disaappinted with their staff.
