Beautiful room (the bathroom was particularly spacious and light-filled), great location, super friendly staff and the cafe downstairs has really delicious menu items.

The staff were always friendly from check in to each return. The room had a spectacular view from the 18th floor. There was complementary beer and water. The only odd note was no tea and coffee maker. Our second stay and it won't be our last.

Super friendly staff and nice facility. We were there for the Pride Weekend so the prices were too high for the property value. At a better price point ,we would stay there again. Very quiet rooms and staff was perfect.

The room had a great view and was extremely comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. Great location.

- Our stay went well; the staff at the Standard East Village is very friendly and efficient. However, there are two weaknesses that need improvement: - Our bathroom needs renovation. - The rooms are very small (even though we had a “Premium Room”)

Lee, at the front desk was terrific: helpful, professional, friendly. The rest of the staff, front desk, door guys, housekeeping were very good. Looking forward to our next stay. Also, Cafe Librae next door is excellent. Harold Himelman

Beautiful view in an east facing corner room 12th floor

Clean and very comfortable beds. We were on the 3rd floor and calling it a corner room with 2 walls of windows is quite a stretch. It was quiet and the bathroom was large. Appreciated the bottled water and maid service did an excellent job. Offering coffee in the lobby from 5am-7am is useless to most, maybe take that to 9am?

Very friendly & professional staff. Modern, clean rooms. A dresser would have been nice since we were there four nights. Restaurant and outside bar area was nicely appointed, staff very friendly and food was tasty.

I would definitely stay there again. The only complaint I have is I requested earlier check in because we arrived by train, they gave us a room right in front of the elevator, when we had paid for a nicer room.

Excellent experience all around. The hotel feels very “private” while being in the middle of all the action in one of the best neighborhoods for visiting New York. The Deluxe King room on 12th floor with the east side city view through big a floor to ceiling window was very comfortable, peaceful well designed. Sha at the front desk deserve especial recognition - friendly, professional and very helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure that my one night stay at the hotel was comfortable and memorable. Thank you, Sha!! Lee was also very courteous and helpful with my luggage. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for events in NYU and downtown area. Easy to grab a bite or drinks right at the hotel. Great restaurants nearby. Access to several subway lines to make it easy yo get around the City.

They charged me 35 per day. I did not know this was going to happen.

Great location!! Very close to NYU, which is what we needed. Very comfortable beds and we had a nice view.
