Staff semblait en formation: on n'a pas été en mesure de traiter la carte bancaire convenablement. Aussi, la cuisine était fermée pour le dîner. À l'exception du personnel, nous avons bien apprécié.

The hotel is very convenient for any stop North of Lyon, close from Charbonnieres and Tassin city centers. The hotel restaurant is very good and has enough choices for a week stay. The room is always clean, with a comfortable bed. The service is also great, I had a minor remark about the room which I communicated to the staff and that was resolved immediately.

Great hotel for overnight stop. They allow dogs in the bedroom which is amazing.

The AC was not working and we struggled to find a replacement with them. The staff did not seem commited to resolve the situation and it looked like it was missing ownership and accountability.

This hotel is great if you ate visiting a family in Charbonnières-les-Bains or a business there. There’s also a good restaurant there. The price was also good.

This was just an overnight business trip. Good standard of accommodation and a very nice meal. Bar opens around 6.00pm but closes early, around 9.00pm on this stay. Nice enough for me on a business stop.

Two day business trip staying at the Mercure, one of the best hotels I've stayed at... and I travel a lot! Rooms were clean, new decor, very spacious with all the amenities you would need. The restaurant was superb, great quality food and drink. Will definitely stay here again.

super nice refurbishment of the hotel, I liked all the decoration, felt welcoming and comfortable. Staff always nice, good restaurant and nice breakfast although this last one is slightly expensive.

Was there for 4 nights on business. Chose this hotel as it was closest to my client's office, and to avoid long taxi journeys from central Lyon. (the traffic in Lyon is notorious during rush hour) The evening meals in the restaurant is absolutely top-notch (and indeed my taxi driver told me it was one of the best places to eat in Lyon) - although I did find one of the older waiters a bit rude. A smile would have resulted in a generous tip, instead I didn't leave anything. Breakfast is also good, and a good selection of things to choose from. The rooms are small and the bedroom was a little tired - but the bathroom was modern and seemed recently done (room 221). Overall - I would stay here again. Be aware - the taxis from the airport are expensive (90 euros at night, and 70 euros in the day). If you are here a few days and money is tight - it is probably cheaper to hire a rental car.

I arrived late after a horrendous drive from Lyon Airport in the worst weather ever! However, I was greeted is a friendly manor and most professionally, I was in my room within 3 minutes. Showered and relaxing in the restaurant within 30. Food was good, price fair. Will I stop there again? Definitely!

The hotel was quite quiet when we stayed, so the car parking was easy. The staff were very helpful getting foam pillows etc. The rooms are on the small side, but the bed is large and comfortable and their was a separate wardrobe area and bath which was great. The breakfast / minbar was very much hotel prices so we skipped this and dinner was not available on the night we stayed, but there is plenty located nearby so was not an issue.
