Plenty of parking, the room was clean and the welcome friendly.The downside was the restaurant was closed when arrived so the alternative was to go out again. We didn't bother, it might have been better to have had some notice of this and we could made other arrangements it didn't spoil matters.

We arrived late at night after leaving a hotel 15 minutes away that turned out to be dreadful. We felt so welcome here - the kindest, most welcoming people, and very cosy, spotless, pretty rooms, with welcome baskets of much-appreciated snacks. Very comfy, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. We will definitely stay again on our trips to visit family locally.

Great one night stay. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. I also loved the breakfast hamper in the room - the hotel doesn’t do a formal breakfast, however a very good hamper is provided in your room with granola, dried fruit mix, cornflakes, croissants and apples. There’s also tea/coffee, and milk and yogurt in the fridge. I thought this was a great idea and it was all included in the cost of the room. I would definitely stay there again.

A great place to stay in Shropshire. Lovely room and nice bar/restaurant. Lovely unecpected breakfast included in our room. We'd definitely stay again.

Sadly this place needs a fair bit of work doing to it. Stayed in a room on one of the hottest days of the year (not their fault obviously!) but no fan available and also blinds only covered 2/3 of the window so noisy all night then the room was bright from about 4:30am. Did flag this to staff but no-one came to try and fix the blinds or provide a fan. Bathroom was very small and could hardly sit on the toilet due to close proximity to wall opposite. For the price I'd opt for something else next time.
