wouldn't refund my reservation before I checked in when I unexpectedly had to go to the hospital

The property and the Inn were good, the room was clean and comfortable except the room 103 was right next door to the guest laundry room and someone was washing and drying clothes and shoes at midnight so all I heard was bang bang which kept me awake, the bed was comfortable, but the noise wasn't. I was only staying one night so I didn't say anything the the front desk.

They asked for a 50.00 deposit and was told that after stay that money would be put back on card which it wasn't.

I had to cancel this reservation as I need to leave Florida to get back to my business in Denver. I asked for a receipt or confirmation and did not get one. I made the reservation with my American Express Card and did not pay for it at that time. Please confirm that I was not charge for the room.

The property is very clean, beautifully appointed, with a nice living room and bookshelves on the main lobby, and all you can drink coffee all day plus baked cookies in the afternoons and evenings. The breakfast area was very nicely stocked up and served a variety of food including eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, breads and bagels, yogurt, juices, and a couple of times a week they offered biscuits and gravy. The rooms are large and have a microwave and fridge, and the air conditioner stays very cold. The floors are wood and the bathroom is huge with lots of towels. They do full cleaning every third day but they come over daily to exchange towels etc and honored our request to clean our room even though we hadn't reached day three. The kiddos seem to enjoy the pool and the hotel is across the street from a large strip mall which has a Publix grocery store and many other businesses. Several fast food places are nearby also. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others. For the price, it was a superb and unexpectedly wonderful experience.

The TV is the living room wasnt working and it was not fixed in the 2 days i stayed

Not the place I thought it was, we check in, the room 212 is hot and muggy with a puddle of water in the room, tried to adjust AC it didn’t work, got moved to 218 seemed ok AC worked 1 day later we come back to room and smells like some one dedicated in the room the who suite stunk, after some discussion they moved us again to 412. The AC was loud when it ran both the king bed and the sofa bed hadn’t been cleaned dirt on both mattresses tried to make it work. I will not stay again and very disappointed so far in Hotels.com and hotel for not trying to offset the bill for the inconveniences. I will book on my own so I can negotiate bad service when I check out.

They were having renovations done when we stayed but never heard any noises! Great Breakfast and friendly staff! Comfortable beds and the pool was open till 12

The staff was incredibly nice. However, the cleanliness could really use improvement. It looked clean on first glance but we found a note between the blanket and sheet that said if we found it then they didn’t clean (picture attached). Then we were given sheets to change the beds and found trash behind the pillows. They did immediately upgrade us to a bigger suite once I went back down again but just make sure to double check the beds before you get in it.
