Won't stay again as they insist on charging a paltry amount for car parking despite having paid premium rates for a premium and otherwise good hotel. Staff blame anyone but the hotel. Pity.

I used the upgrade program and enjoyed the breakfast, all day snacks and access to business room and great time for the light dinner & wine. I recommend this program, even if the room is almost the same, there is a nespresso machine and many consumable. The breakfast in the business room is good, but after the second day I went to the main one, which was larger. The hotel offers very tasty fruits, great healthy cooking and heavy for those who enjoy strong breakfast. But the best is by far the fitness center. The Planet Fitness is integrated in the Hotel, at the 10th floor, and there are 3000 square meters of equipment, rooms, huge swimming pool. I used whatever I could, but this is a dream for somebody who likes sport. Finally the staff is very friendly, I had a late check out included in my upgrade, I left the room at 15:30 and enjoyed the business room until I left for the airport. The hotel has a shuttle to the train station (Sandton) which takes only 16 minutes to reach the airport. Definitely the hotel to stay in Johannesburg.

My family had a wonderful experience at Radisson Blu Sandton. They provide a shuttle to Sandton City mall every 30 minutes which we utilised fully. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

The best part about this hotel is access to a (third party) three story gym with pool and 250m indoor running track (on the 9th floor...). It's also easily accessible from the airport (JNB). Just take the train, and walk a block. There is a second Radisson Blu right next to the train station, don't mix them up.

Hotel is within walking distance to train and mall. Hotel also runs shuttle to train and mall every 30 minutes. They even gave us complimentary water every day. We arrived a few hours before check-in but they were able to accommodate us within 30 minutes.

We had a great time at the gym which was amazing... 3 stories of state of the art gym equipment, classes and indoor heated pool. The shuttle to 3 km around the area is also very convenient

Gym is great! All new equipment. Front desk staff is super helpful. Housekeeping staff is sloppy and will try to rush you out... knocking and asking when you are checking out before checkout time, maintenance staff not fixing things speedily, etc.

There was a dirty towel in the bathtub upon check in and both phones in my king suite were not able to get through using the one touch service despite many multiple calls late at night to request for a wake up call. I then ended up waking up late for a meeting the next day since there wasn't a socket to charge my phone in the bedroom. I would have expected more from this hotel.

The customer service staff (team) at the reception area desk were absolutely fantastic. Impressive staff! I felt very secure as the security team were always present at the front entrance.On September 14, 2016, the hotel turned off the water in rooms WITHOUT notice to guests. I was unable to bathe in any manner or use the toilet facilities.The towels in bathroom were really dingy. A new laundry vendor is needed. The safe in room was in a state of disrepair. It was fixed, but then it failed to work after the repair. I had to call 3 times before anyone showed up to fix the safe. There was stench coming from the drain in bathroom shower. This was caused by standing water somewhere in drain. There was a hole in duvet cover on bed. The throw pillows on bed need a good cleaning.

I expected better from the Radisson considering it was a 5 star hotel. The bedding had a stain on the sheet as well as a stain on one of the towels in the bathroom. We invited some of our friends for a drink at the bar and when the cocktails was brought to us, we had rotten olives and the rooibos tea already had sweetener in it. We also noticed that there was no organisation with the shuttle service. We had made it clear to reception that we would be using the shuttle and was informed that they would be leaving with the next 20 minutes. When the shuttle opened the doors, four other guests pushed in front of us leaving us to take the two remaining spaces. If there has been one more guest we would have been left waiting for another half an hour

I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The staff were always responsive and friendly. There is a shuttle which goes to Sandton City Mall/Mandela Square but is also flexible enough to take guests to other locations nearby.

I have been booked at suit room during my stay at Radisson Blu , the room #1412 have terrible smell,very likely coming up from the drains of the bathroom facility, I have reported that to the reception management without avail, even I have repeated my complain to the Duty Manager Mr. Paul, still no solutions to stop the smell, so I have spend very comfortable four night disturbed my stay in the room whenever I am in. I believe the hotel need major renovation.
