We stayed there before and had enjoyed breakfast, but this time, I regretted paying for it in advance because it's totally overpriced for what was offered ($25pp per day). I would recommend buying own croissants at the bakery. There is also a supermarket nearby. We paid $25pp for the 3 days we stayed and there was not much offered on the buffet and the coffee was barely warm. We were also charged $16 for 2 small cans of nuts we took by mistake.

The service was great, the lady at the reception was very kind. The jacuzzy, indoor swimming pool and hammam are beautifully located, at at the perfect temperature. The rooms were renovated a few years ago, and are well designed. The bed was very comfortable for my sensitive back. The whole place is surrounded by a forest, and feels cozy and natural We didn't eat at the restaurant, and prferred tp have dinner in town.

Nice property and friendly staff but difficult to get a reservation for dinner. Had to eat in the town. Also several parties while there and it was noisy late into the night.

What a little gem. It has exceeded our expectations from location, to amenities and service. Would absolutely come back.

Everything about this hotel is nice and a decent place to stay in the Vence area however felt a bit oversold by the pictures / overpriced and some of the service was a little confused/slow. Pool areas are a nice place to relax, rooms are a decent size, restaurant is fine just not quite as luxurious as the pictures make out.

Service was good . Property was clean . However it was totally over sold on the web and totally overpriced for its quality - the property is 3 star in my view .

Location, staff, food and a quiet place to unwind after a whirlwind vacation in three countries. We lived the swimming pool too!

the hotel grounds and views were breathtaking and gorgeous, the room was beautiful and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the amenities were superb. The pools and spa area are top notch. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, in fact we left our day sightseeing in Nice early just to get back to the hotel because it was so lovely. a car is required for this hotel, but Vence is a 15 minute walk away if you want to make the trek on foot.

We were there when my husband was having eye surgery. The staff was extremely helpful, kind and compassionate. We loved the property, the service, the food and felt grateful for the staff’s kindness. Looking forward to going back.

Very good hotel, large rooms beautiful and clean, the staff lovely and courteous and professional, helpful in every subject, the breakfast was good and the dinner was excellent. Highly recommend

This was such a lovely hotel with a beautiful SPA, amazing view from the outside heated jacuzzi which we enjoyed very much, inside heated swimming pool was also lovely and clean too, friendly and helpful staff, a close walk to the old town of Vence. Absolutely lovely hotel and beautiful quiet property. We loved our Easter holiday here so much that when after 3 days here we moved to Cannes to another 5-star hotel we were still missing Cantermerle.

The hotel is very pleasant & romantic. It is well maintained & the staff is extremely friendly & helpful. The breakfast buffet is very reach. The pool & garden are very nice if the weather is right. This is actually the only negative side - in rainy days, the inside of the restaurant and the spa is less nice. I have previously stayed in other hotel in Vence and its area and this was definitely the one I would come back to!!!!

Just spent 2 nights but would like to have spent much longer! Beautiful spot so close to Vence and away from the crowds in Nice. Lovely gardens and enjoyed the pools. A little spoilt by a noisy young family, in fact it would be best not to allow children under 12 as the place is really geared for maximum relaxation. We ate breakfast which was very good with a lot of choice and we enjoyed a lunch. I would definitely stay here again if ever I wanted to visit the Nice area.

Stayed at hotel as part of a short family break to Vence. Had all the facilities needed for us to chill out and staff were really helpful and friendly. Also a good base from which to explore the surrounding area when we were able to drag ourselves away from the pool/ sunloungers!
