It was a very great location, easy to take public transport.

Very strategic location, near Asian market, ALDI, Victoria Queen Market, Melbourne Central, etc.

They don’t have 24-hr front desk as mentioned, information about this hotels needs to be updated. We arrived at the hotel at 6am. the waiting area in front of the front desk so tiny and very cold. We had no issue if we can’t do an early check in. However please make the lobby more comfortable. I booked 2 rooms, but the heater in room 917 didnt fully function as we still felt freezing inside the room, though we have turned it on all day long. No issue in the 2nd room. On our 2nd day the emergency alarm rang. All guests came down through emergency stairs,. I travelled with my 78yrs old mom. The on duty staff only explained that someone press the emergency button, and they will look to the cctv. Where is the security for the guests? Despite the strategic location, I did not recommend to stay here, better you book to another hotel in the same area with better condition.

Good location, great comfort room, clean and affordable price

Overall, I like staying at this hotel. Between the price and the benefits obtained are balanced. I do not feel a loss, the location is good, clean, the room facilities and public facilities are very adequate.

Really nice place, the Hotel itself located near the city center

This amazing price in the center of Melbourne, everyone knew that Mercure always clean. The most important thing is we don't need too much effort for eat. All around the hotel are nice restaurants. Highly recommended!

The location of hotel is close to nearby city interest places

Quite close to melbourne center, queen victoria market, and state library victoria. Easy to find places to eat and have coffee.

Just so much sound surrounding even from above have been hear many foot steps.

Comfy room, very near to city

There is a kitchen for cooking, laundry is only 7 dollars for wash+dry and is on every floor. Carpet floors, okay AC, okay staff. There is a 100$ deposit using a credit card and passport photo from the start. Cleanliness is a bit lacking because there is still dirt on the carpet and the room telephone has been dusty for 1 week. Okay place, near Queen Victoria Market, places to eat and buy cheap things there. The exhaust fan in the bathroom runs 24 hours even though the electricity is off and is a bit dirty. Old school elevators like to make noises

The staff were very friendly and the locations of the hotel itself so easy to access to melbourne CBD.

Overall everything is ok, only the wifi is bad.

Scary, small lobby, dark hallways, bankrupt restaurant on the 9th floor, but overall it's worth the price and they actually clean the room and great location. Got it for $120 a night.

Room, bed, and towels are very clean. We were able to check in before time hence free us from luggages when leaving for lunch. The hotel is strategically located near Queen Victoria Market, Tram routes, other interesting places to visit, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Fast process for Check in and check out.
