Hotel Chelsea is a sweet, small hotel. Location was within walking distance to Torino P.N. Only complaints or concerns are that it is literally on the tram line and it was quite noisy beginning at 0600 until about 2300. Also the beds were not comfortable—very stiff mattresses.

The property was in a great location, and the rooms were comfortable and clean with an old fashioned charm. Staff carried my suitcase up the staircase, which I appreciated. My first double room had a balcony, bidet, and bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress. My second room was smaller, no balcony, with less comfortable spring mattresses (two singles pushed together), no bidet and it was facing the street and tram track. I had originally booked three nights on Expedia then I needed a fourth. I wasn’t able to extend the original booking so I simply booked another night. Unfortunately, because this represented two separate bookings, I had to change rooms mid-stay even though when I checked in, I was told I could remain in the first room for my entire stay. While I can understand that such things happen, I did not appreciate the way in which I was told I had to move and that it was impossible for me to keep my original room. It didn’t help that the weekend rate for my room with fewer amenities was more than what I paid for the better room. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend a bit more attention be paid to room assignments in future as my dissatisfaction with this situation could easily have been avoided.

We Absolutely Loved our stay at Hotel Chelsea. Boutique European historic hotel within walking distance to sun-drenched Italian piazza’, ornate buildings, markets, restaurants & museums. The staff was Incredibly helpful (huge Gratzi & shout out to Mariella! & male wait staff who had studied photography)One in our party was sick & they went out of their way to assist. The Sat night dinner at their restaurant was terrific. There was a public parking garage 2 or 3 blocks away -12 Euros for 24 hours. Bed was a tad too firm but that’s way better than the alternative. Location & staff reputation pulled us in & would bring us back!

We arrived from NZ about 430pm jet lagged with a 4 year old and a van so it was always going to be a bit tough. Husband had to find alternate parking as van wouldn't fit in their car park or another one suggested ($100 parking ticket later!) Beds were comfy and room was clean. No lift but staff assisted with luggage Location was great for sightseeing Breakfast was superb Overall a good hotel , old but decent

Brilliant small hotel right in the heart of Turin. The breakfast is dangerously good (dangerous for the waistline that is). The staff are courteous and efficient. My room was compact but not cramped and there is a nice common area on the first floor for meeting with friends or chilling out if you don't want privacy.

We were in Torino to attend the opera, and Hotel Chelsea was very conveniently located. The hotel itself was pleasant and attractive, and the staff was friendly as well as helpful.

Visited with children aged 11 & 13 for a two night stay. Clean, comfortable family room - one double & two single beds, with good sized bathroom. Double glazing & a.c mean minimal street noise, but windows can be open to check out all the action in the street below from the balcony. A parade with historic costumes & musicians entertained us on our first night. Very helpful staff - went the extra mile such as providing us with breakfast prior to an early morning check- out. Hotel restaurant does plentiful breakfasts with good choice of food. We ate there the first night & food was very good & reasonably priced. Close to everything plus great public transport to more distant attractions. The Automobile museum was really good. We loved Turin and our stay at the Hotel Chelsea.

This hotel has great character and an even greater staff. The furnishings are vintage which just adds to the character. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The hotel is just steps away from the Shroud of Turin church where you can view it. Great for a quick overnight.

very pleased with my stay here, just one block away from the Duomo/Cathedral so ideal for those who wish to see the shroud before its current exposition ends, AC in the room, no elevator but my bag was brought up for me, very helpful staff, better soundproofing would be helpful for the room on one side of mine
