We had an amazing stay! Checked in a little late in the afternoon and pool was closing, but they made an exception and allowed up to enjoy the pool. Drinks on the pool deck were amazing! The beach club was fabulous and food was great! We were treated like royalty! Truly impressed and will definitely visit again! Scalea has beautiful beaches and now one of our favorite spots!

Very nice location with a great beach club. Free parking on-site but it is very tight during busy season. Walking distance to beaches and town. Amazing views!

The private beach access is great the breakfast was great. Room was clean and bed really comfy. The downside was the Air conditioning didnt work, only the fan. We told the front desk staff twice the first night with no resolution (just checked something in the back office) the following morning we told them again. They sent someone who turned the thermostat down 2 degress but it was still not blowing cold air. We left the window closed and the fan running while gone for lunch the cleaners shut it off and opened the window to 28 degree weather which defeats the purpose of Ac. Told the check out clerk on departure to complete disinterest. Very frustrating experience and don't stay in room 215

Very beautiful property next to the sea. We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty as we we’re staying in Scalea only one night on our way to Calabria- a gem for sure. The hotel manager and staff were very kind and helpful. Beautiful beach and access to it is easy. We want to visit again for a longer time. Breakfast was great as well. They had a very nice Buffay with a lot of different options to choose from.

The view was awesome, the staff was friendly and accommodating, it had a pool and jacuzzi that was very well kept, and the beach and dining was within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Scalea.

The rooms were foisty and old fashioned but the beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful

Beautiful

Pros: -very kind and helpful staff; -everything was very clean. Cons: -old structure, rooms and halls need some renovation; -food was acceptable, but not good enough for the price -LOTS of stairs, had some struggle there as we had our trolley.

Nice sea view; large and bright room; beautiful private beach and swimming pool; staff gentle and friendly. Breakfast was not at the standard of the hotel and the waiting time to be served was extremely long (approx. 45 minutes every morning)

The setting, proximity to the beach, and views are fabulous and the breakfast was good. The beds are a little low, the shower small, and parking was difficult but manageable.

Air conditioning has a strong smell of sulphur, so can't use during the night. Small ants all over so don't leave food lying around. Beds are really soft so you might wake up with a bad back. Parking space is quite limited but we were able to manage without damaging anything. There is a minifridge in the room but you are not allowed to use it to store your own food or drinks in it. Bathroom is really tight but this was not an issue. But, of all this, the worst is that much of the staff (not all mind you) is uncaring. Uncaring about the state of the hotel, uncaring about the clients. The beach was nice with long chairs and ombrello inclusive. Good restaurants nearby. Breakfast is continental and very complete. Pool was very clean.

Property was great and location was great. We had a mix up with reservation dates. But the hotel itself was great.

Wonderful hotel on the Calabrian Coast. Well maintained, pool, lido, friendly and professional service, lovely breakfast. We will return.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. The check in staff called over the older housekeeping staff to carry our bags! Ridiculous! The lifeguard at the Lido was more concerned with his girlfriend than anything else. The Lido itself offered nothing for kids - there were much better offerings a couple of doors down.The service at breakfast was terrible - no greeting or offer of coffee. Our shower drain blocked up and although we notified reception, they didn't notify anyone, which made for 2 days of incredibly short (max 2 minute) showers! The highlight of this hotel is the housekeeping staff, fabulous people!! This hotel is 3 star at best.

Easy access to beach, restaurants and city center. Very polite and caring staff. Beautiful pool area!

The location is great, the hotel mostly looks like B&B, breakfast is Italian standards, just lunch served. There is not TV in the large lounge area and don't have music too. Parking is great. Balcony is also nice.
