A gem! Location was perfect. Room was spacious(by European standards) and sparkly clean. There was even a stand fan in the room, which I appreciated since the temps were in 30+ C range.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous! Highly recommend it is you are in Salzburg. We were walking distance to everything on our trip.

Modern room in an historic building. The location was perfect—a short walk to the market area, the Cathedral, the Fortress, Mirabell Gardens. Many restaurants nearby. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and the staff was very helpful!

Have stayed here several times for the Salzburg Festival. In the middle of town but very quiet. Good sized rooms. Good breakfast. Very polite and helpful staff. Recommended.

This was a great location, great staff. Clean spacious room, shower a little small but not too bad. Breakfast had a wide variety of options. Overall great stay in this hotel.

Great walkable location. Comfortable quiet rooms and friendly staff. The included breakfast offered a good selection. Our room was off a floor the elevator serviced which was helpful with our luggage. Some rooms will have to be accessed by stairs if in-between which would have been inconvenient.

Lovely old property with character. If you're driving in, public parking is a short hike. Check-in staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and sites to visit for our short stay.

Great location, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast, amooth automated checkin ! Highly recommend. Parking was a pain point, especially if you arrive after 7pm. Have to take luggage by walk for 10 mins to hotel.

Really enjoyed our short break in Salzburg at the Altstadthotel Stadtkrug. We stayed in an apartment, room was great, comfy, clean etc and in an ideal location close to Mirabell Gardens and old town etc. On a pedestrian street, so taxi from airport dropped us at bottom of road, a couple of hundred metres walk, no problem for us but could be if you're not so mobile or have a lot of luggage. However when we left, hotel booked us a taxi and they came right to door, so may be better to contact hotel for airport pick up as they know taxi with access past bollards etc.

A nice hotel in a good location. Good service but a too narrow bathroon, parking is far and there are some stairs in the hotel entrance and dining room. Not for handicapped.
