The walls so thin we could hear the next door guest brushing their teeth. Beds and bedding were of very poor quality.

The room was very small, especially the bathroom. I was hitting my head against the edge of the sink everytime I used the toilet. The water temperature in the shower would not stay consistent. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the bed pillow was uncomfortable as well.

Great location. Close by Sol Metro. Easy check in. Welcoming staff. Comfy bed. Quality bed linen and towels. Coffee in room. Having been in Madrid centre several times, I was surprised this level of Hostal only had shower gel in washroom… NO shampoo, No conditioner. But overall, would certainly recommend this lodging . this is a low end hostel with a great location. it was very clean and it was a very good value we appreciate the coffee maker and refrigerator . the only negative was the bed was uncomfortable.

Property conditions, as in the room...tv remote had dead batteries, flooring edges were coming off, water control from shower as either super hot or cold no in between.

Very close to restaurant and recreation places.

The property is in the city centre which makes it convenient for tourism plus there is many shops and restaurants nearby.

We stayed in this hostel twice during our summer travel through Spain, once as we began our road trip and again at the end. The hostel has rooms in the building were check-in is done and in a building across the street. Both rooms were clean and in great shape. The person at the check-in desk was friendly and helpful. The location is great, right next to the plaza where the New Year Eve ball drop takes place and an entrance to the Metro is located. We will definitely try to book this hostel when we visit Madrid again.

Great location; central to everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Communication via WhatsApp was GREAT! Able to leave bags before checkin and after checkout which made it nice for arrival and departure. Madrid is so hot in the summer and their AC was a lifesaver! Great property, we'd stay there again and recommend.

Excellent location to walk around the Center of Madrid, too many places to eat, enterteainment and shop. The rooms and the price are very recommended for the tourists that don't want to waste their time in a hotel room and just need to recover after a productive day!
