The location is excellent. Although it is not a super quiet location, people are out walking and eating and drinking all night. Gets quiet about 6am. The hostal is clean and comfortable. It was a perfect stay.

Well-located, charming vintage hotel was practical, budget-friendly, and comfortable. Our utilitarian room was ready slightly early, which was helpful upon arrival in Madrid. However, we must remove a star for bathroom problems. The toilet tank did not always refill and therefore did not always flush. Also, a frosted glass door with gaps exposed to the room is NOT an adequate bathroom door in a small hotel room with three adults. Install real, closing, solid doors. Otherwise, the hotel itself had attractive accents in hallways and doorways, and was right in the heart of Centro district.

Room was super cute and clean. Very walkable to area attractions. The staff was very nice and gave us a great, not so touristy, recommendation for delicious paella

An absolutely amazing hostal, so close to everything, and a beautiful building. Rooms are small, however, include an ensuite and has a lift. We've stayed there many times, and will continue to do so and highly recommend this Hostal.

This Hotel is located in a great location, however if you are a light sleeper this might not be the place for you as there are people making noise, drinking and yelling in the street until 6:00 a.m.. Although the hotel room was recently updated it lacked basics like drinking glasses, a hairdryer and there was a charge for using the room-locking safe. The hotel was clean and safe and reasonably priced but may not be for everyone

It is an excellent place in a great location, but there was a lot of noise outside the property. I could not sleep at all. I am unsure if the hotel has rooms that don’t face the street, but if it does, reserve one like that.

Clean, large room and convenient locker

Llegamos 6:00 am y en vez de darnos los buenos días, nos dijeron en muy mala forma que a esa hora no podíamos entrar, lo cual conocíamos, después nos habilitaron una taquilla pagada para guardar el equipaje, no nos ofrecieron baño ni nada. A las 6:30 am nos vimos en la calle. La zona muy céntrica, de noche imposible dormir con el ruido de la calle. Las tohallas muy malas, no había secador en la habitación, no volvería a quedarme ahí a pesar de tener una buena ubicación

The location is very convenient. But it's a bit of noisy during the night on the street.

El hotel esta en todo centro bien ubicado. el estado general de las instalaciones es aceptable. El personal réception es muy rudo y de poca ayuda.
