For a single male solo traveler this was an excellent, reasonably priced room. The Kennard is an older hotel, and my room was quite small. Also it was up three flights of stairs. But when I travel alone I don't need a big room -- just gonna sleep there anyway. The staff helped bring my suitcase, the room was clean and tastefully decorated. The shower was fine. The internet worked. The location is central -- very good actually. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel.

Our room was quite warm as it was on the top floor (and it was during hot weather) - otherwise a pleasant stay!

No air conditioning. Fourth floor. We left street the first night. Staff were very understanding and issued us a partial refund. Great location but not during a heat wave! We had a lovely cup of tea outside in the back garden. Such a lovely spot.

A lovely boutique hotel. The hotel staff went above and beyond - taking care of our every need. We really appreciated that they opened the dining room early to make sure we had breakfast before a tour. A perfect stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kennard as part of our trip to Bath. We chose it for its proximity to the sights. Our room was clean and lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed for one night as a little weekend getaway. We were greeted by a cheerful and friendly host and the check-in was quick and easy. The room itself was exactly as advertised. It was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable, the room having more than enough space for us both. The property location was excellent, being no more than 5 minutes walk from the centre. Checkout was also nice and quick. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, just what we wanted!

We arrived to a friendly welcome however when we entered the room it was small, unclean, in need of a lick of paint and it was not what we expected. So disapponted.

Loved this place! The room was wonderful! Best mattress ever in our whole stay in the UK. Fab breakfast options. Wish we had stayed more than a night. Thanks much Kennard!

Lovely Georgian rowhouse made into a wonderful upscale b&b. Very nicely decorated with historic Georgian details and big high ceilings. Easy couple of block walk to the center of things at Bath Abbey. Did not try the breakfast on offer but sounded like there was a good variety of choices. Would definitely return.

A charming hotel with an amazing breakfast service. We also liked that it was a bit away from the city (only a 5 minute walk) so it was quieter.

Very small double bed, when using the bathroom you thought the pipes and water were going to come through the bedroom.
