Not as bad as some of the reviews, room is a little tired, some things need replacing, like toilet roll holder and door handles, but staff are very friendly and helpful, I slept well, didn’t eat there as there was a wake on, and didn’t want to hang around , give this 8/10

The staff of the Ramada, were very nice and attentive nothing was too much trouble they made you feel very welcome. The hotel was very relaxing the room was big it was clean as was the bathroom. It is a place i would highly recommend. It is a very warm atmosphere so so relaxing too.

I had booked 7 rooms for my staff as we were running an event nearby. The stay itself was fine but unfortunately I left my brand new Tom Ford aftershave in the bathroom by accident. I called back the following day hoping they would have put it to one side, dealt with the manager and there was no trace of it to be seen. Disappointed.

We had a great stay, comfortable beds and the breakfast was fabulous. We will be staying again very soon. Thank you 😊

The room was a bit rough around the edges especially the bathroom ..was a bit too far out of the city ,especially with all the traffic on the main road in and out of Cheltenham also there was no sign on the roundabout wouldn't go there again would pay£ 20 to 30per night more to stay somewhere better

The first room was ok, however the bathroom basin had cracks in it and the curtains were certainly in poor condition. On the second day there the people above us flooded their bathroom causing water to come through our ceiling, staff quickly changed us to another room and offered us a bottle of wine and 50% off our evening meal. Unfortunately this turned out to be more like 20% and as we don't drink alcohol they got off really lightly. Our second room was quiet warm and when we tried to turn on the air conditioning nothing happened, then the TV reception dropped out, the young lady tried his hardest to fix the TV but unfortunately he couldn't get the free to air channels back. We were then told there is no air conditioning any more however there was a fan in the cupboard, when we turned it on it was extremely noisy and had to turn it off again. It is a shame because this place is full of people attempting to help, but failing.

Had two nights in here, lovely place, locaction on west side of Cheltenham but I'm sure close enough for a cab to the centre. Recently changed hands and setting about renovating. The public areas are to an excellent standard, modern but cozy bar, excellent restaurant atmosphere, eat here both nights and both service and food were excellent, great choices and properly cheffed not a commercial ready meal. Breakfast was likewise solid start to the day. Bedrooms a little tired but big enough, comfortable bed, and aircon with such British weather right now. (Not sure why reviews say there isn't) I'm sure with time these will be refurbished too and the price reflected, but currently great value. Good luck, will be back next year!

We had mismatxhed curtains the air con was broken on the hottest day of the year and the carpet was stained badly. The staff were very friendly a fan had been provided in the room but wasnt really adequate. Breakfast was amazing, on site parking was great. This hotel was fantastic value

Very tired rooms. The shower was lukewarm. The breakfast was ok, but it is obvious they use cheap ingredients, eg the sausage, plus the whole full English, which they prepare in the kitchen ( not buffet style) had a very greasy flavour to it.

The room was spacious & clean except the walls. But the manager offered complimentary breakfast for our 3 day stay because that room was due for repainting.

1 night stay on business trip. Room was clean, spacious, reasonably well equipped but a little worn in places. Staff were helpful and breakfast was ok. Overall a reasonable stay.

Avoid this place! Cheap for a reason There was no food available as the restaurant was closed for refurbishment (without any prior warning) there was no hot water in my room (seems common now I’ve read other reviews) for most of the time when there was the shower was unusable as it was so hot. The WiFi kept dropping out. Staff were unhelpful about my issues. Thank god it was 1 night, back to IHG for me

Staff were great, gym was well kitted out and the room on the whole was very nice. The bathroom was very dated and in need of a refurb. I'd booked this hotel as it had a bar and restaurant... closed for refurbishment and not advertised. Very annoyed at that. Breakfast was extremely disappointing... Packets of instant coffee, very little choice of anything to be fair . I didn't want a cooked breakfast but this was the only real option and it wasn't great either.

Serves the exact purpose for a quick stay. Staff around if needed although need to ring. Pics very similar to the actual room.

They're having work done so amenities listed on the site aren't actually open. No bar, no restaurant and it's a bit isolated, you need to be able to drive somewhere for food. Skeleton staff. The management need to employ an appropriate number of staff. Reception often isnt manned with a notice up and during breakfast, the one staff member is serving people and doing reception which is in a completely different place. My room was run down with a constantly running tap. Definitely wouldn't stay here again. Hopefully it'll improve when the refurb is finished. The listing should be sognificantly updated and make it clear what is actually available on site. I'd not have booked if I knew I couldn't get food. Due to disability, I have to plan my energy carefully and this knocked me significantly.

5x the original price they charged me due to Cheltenham. Very poor all round. If I paid the original price it wouldn’t have been as bad. Hum out of order, lots of work being done. Just a very disappointing stay. They price they charged was disgraceful
