A really lovely Corsican hotel on the hillside above Bastia. We were only passing through for the ferry transfer to Livorno, but this hotel deserved a longer stay. Nice views, excellent service throughout, and first rate facilities.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pietracap. The breakfast had a good range of options and the dinners were delicious. The hotel was in an easy location for a quick drive into Bastia. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the ocean view from the room was stunning. We also loved the water fountain in the lobby for our water bottles. It was so convenient. The only things we didn't enjoy were the overly firm mattress and STRONG room perfume.

The pool and the property are absolutely beautiful. Great views from room balconies. Rooms are spacious and clean. Only critique is that there was a bad smell in the room, unsure from what but possibly from bad sewer venting.

We sat by the pool most of the day with staff so wonderfully attentive the place is an oasis.the hotel has a 5 star attitude and we knew we have picked just the right place to spend a few days to unwind. The food is exceptional

I love this hotel. I recommended the hotel to family and friends. There was a little issue around checkout. Communication could have been clearer. It took a bit of back and forth to resolve an issue around breakfast. Close to 800 Canadian was spent on a room for two nights. The thought was breakfast was included in the cost. When checking out nothing was mentioned about extra breakfast charges and taxes. Only afterwards, when the premises were vacated, was an email sent asking for payment of an additional 60 euros for breakfast. It was a little awkward but in the end resolved. Aside from this glitch, a very nice hotel with a very pleasant owner. A great family owned hotel in Corsica. Our Canadian family will not hesitate to go back.

The view of the ocean and the island of Elba was outstanding. Staff were very helpful in providing recommendations for restaurants, things to do, etc Breakfast was quite good. The road the hotel is located on is hardly walkable (narrow, traffic), so a car is a necessity.

Good atmosphere. Restaurant had closed at end of holiday season,so we had to drive into toen--bout 3 miles awy for dinners

Nice hotel for our final stay close to Bastia and the beach before setting off to Florence via ferry from Bastia. Lovely pool, relaxing environment.

Had stayed here 3 nights previous and was delighted to be back!

Good overall but not worth the price. Silent air con ruined by bright light from control panel all night. Ditto red TV light. No duvet on bed (only a sheet). Shampoo/body wash chemical-based. Much smaller room than hotel photos suggest. Promised minibar not present. When complained, was assured there was a fridge in the room - not true - there wasn't :-(. Room lighting good but strange odour from bedding. Impossibly slow Wi-Fi (under 2MB/sec). Upload virtually nonexistent. Won't be staying again.

This is a gem of a hotel. The breakfast was very good and the views from the breakfast room terrace simply stunning as were the views from the bedroom. Each bedroom has a lovely terrace. The only drawback was that the road up was dangerous and a taxi is a must but it was worth it.

Location was excellent Parking downtown Corte special. We liked the coffee machine and could start the day with coffee crossants at thé boulangerie and we had a good start. The room was tasteful, but had an ikea feel to it. Alain was very friendly. We had a very good experience

Quiet, pleasant, immaculate hotel in a quiet location but still just a few minutes drive from town. Terrific pool. Beach access is a drive. Only complaint is that I'd like better soap/shampoo/conditioner provisions.

places i have ever stayed-the staff was wonderful. a lot of care went into making this hotel. the art work was fabulous-layout excellent-view of sea incredible from bedroom-great breakfast overlooking pool and well-tended garden-would love to return!
