The hotel is in an elevated position affording fabulous views of Poros. There is a pool, bar area and various seating areas for general use. A shuttle bus is provided for guests to access the town etc. The room we stayed in was a standard room but clean & adequate for our needs with a sea view. We thought the breakfast was amazing catering for a wide variety of tastes. All in all a great value hotel we would highly recommend to visiting Poros.

Fantastic hotel. Free shuttle bus to the beach is amazing. Hotel staff are friendly and contentious. Nothing was too much trouble. Great selection of food at breakfast. Air con in the room was a lifesaver. Can't fault this hotel at all, just want to go back again.

The hotel is up the hill from the harbour and beach, but is every respect was super. Great breakfast, free shuttle to the beach/town, nice pool, nice family room and a truly super taverna just nearby. The staff are amazing and helped with our onward travel, car hire, etc

Nice little hotel on the hillside of Poros. Nice view from the room. A little noisy from the corridor/lobby to our room, but nothing to bad. I would stay again.

We have stayed at this family run hotel before. The staff a very helpful and friendly and also provide a free "taxi" service to anfd from the town, most welcome because although the views from the hotel are stunning, it's a long way up the hill to walk back.

This hotel was the best value for the money that I have ever stayed at on any of the Greek Islands. It is family run so you know that they really care about you. The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel was very clean, the rooms were a good size, the bathrooms were big with good showers. The views at this hotel were amazing. The pool was very good. There was plenty of free parking and they had decent Wi-Fi. They severed a great breakfast with a wide variety of items full of fresh fruit and local foods. When we needed something the service was great. A refrigerator with reasonably priced items included. A nice balcony, The area was in a town called Poros that we found very convenient and very family-friendly. The town had several good restaurants and a nice square next to the beach were al the kids would play at night. Altogether a great experience.

This is a 2* hotel so don't expect more but it was perfect. Amazing views, good, extensive buffet breakfast on the terrace, good size pool with sun beds, bar with snacks, little beach 300m (v steep), great taverna 50m. lovely owners, free shuttle into town. No faults. The bed was hard. The room had kettle and fridge but tea /coffee were not routinely topped up. We did get more on request. No complimentary shampoo. soap and hand wash only. This is not a complaint!

Great views and amazing owners! We had a big problem they were able to solve! It was a great local location and pretty easy to find with a rented car. We were even first timers to the island.

Hotel was quiet, with good choices for breakfast, room had balcony with view overlooking the harbour, hotel pool had sunbeds and basic table tennis and billiards and attended bar (though we didn't use)..Up to date books available in breakfast room which was very useful as we got through a lot of reading as we had thunderstorms a couple of days. Steps down short steep slow to two eating taverns both ok, plus other steps down slope to harbour area. Family run who were very helpful and we felt very comfortable whilst staying. Fridge and kettle in room.

Hotel Oceanis is a family run hotel overlooking the port of Poros. Fresh and homemade produce available every morning and the hotel is run by the family whose aim is to ensure everyone has a good time. Poros is away from the hussle and bustle of its next door neighbour of Skala. Poros is the main port town and everyday there is an opportunity to watch a range of sailing boats, yacht and ferries come and go. The hotel is high up on the hillside overlooking the port-but no worries-Peter will drop you off in the town or by the beach and when you are ready to return you just as the restaurant to ring the Oceanis and within minutes they are there to take you back. The swimming area at the Oceanis tracks the sun throughout the day and there is a small swimming pool bar that serves drinks and snacks throughout the day too. This was a perfect spot for a relaxing 12 days in the warmth of the Greek sunshine and family hospitality.

Had a great time. Nothing too much trouble for the hotel staff. They were welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful - Alex even did me the big favour of popping down to a local restaurant and picking up a bag I had left there. Fantastic location, view and pool

This is a simple hotel with a nice pool overlooking Poros and the bay. It is exceptionally clean, the staff are helpful and breakfast is a varied Greek buffet. It is a steep walk to and from the harbour but the hotel mini bus will take and bring back. If you want a relaxing no frills holiday this is the place.

We stayed here for 8 nights at the beginning of September. Peter met us at the airport and drove us back to the hotel. Our room was quite small, simply furnished but spotlessly clean with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and down to the harbour. Sleep quality was excellent as the beds were comfortable and there was very little noise. The air conditioning was effective and reasonably quiet. The breakfasts were excellent offering a wide selection of breads, cheese ,ham ,eggs cereals and delicious omelettes cooked by Grandma (we think!). There was always lashings of Greek yoghurt and honey and even Turkish Delight if you had room! Access to the town was by some quite steep steps down to the road leading to the harbour (about 10 minutes but longer coming back.) This would not suit everyone but the family were happy to give guests lifts to and from town. The pool was well maintained and there were always spare sunbeds around. A bar was available with drinks and snacks at very fair prices. Peter and Maria were happy to book trips for us and their son even arranged car hire when we had left it too late to book it from the UK. He booked it from Rentcar Kefalonia who turned out to be really easy to deal with (unlike many other companies if reviews are to be believed). There were two tavernas down the path from the swimming pool. Both had fantastic views and served traditional dishes freshly cooked at very reasonable prices, so being outside the town was no problem.

First problem was you need to email the hotel, or you won't have a transfer to your hotel. The breakfast is ok, but don't get to excited. The walk to the harbour with two restaurants and two bars is 5 mins, add another 6-7 mins to the main town. Hotel views and pool and great.
